Im super thankful you're doing these tutorials for the beginners. Maybe 3D-Artists finally learn to model again instead of just kitbashing stuff together. When i started modeling (2005) i made EVERYTHING myself. Even the textures. Today you see alot of "how to"-Tutorials and many of them teach fundamental mistakes and flaws to beginners. Thats why i appreciate your tutorials so much. You really do know what you're doing and can also explain why you're doing what you're doing.
Hi!I am a beginner in C4D from Japan, and my dream is to create the best advertisements. I’ve searched through many channels, but your modeling explanation was the most detailed and easy-to-understand tutorial. I really hope you continue making them. I’m truly grateful and I support you. Thank you so much for uploading both easy and difficult content for free. You are helping my dream, really really appreciate it.😇
My first C4D tutorial was 14 years ago, "How to make a Cascading Text Animation with Cinema 4D and After Effects" by Greyscalegorila, after all the years I have some struggles with topology and UV, This series is great for me I learned a lot thanks
Thank you so much for yet another BRILLIANT tutorial. I can honestly say that I have learned everything from you, thank you!! I have a question though please, I notice that some times when you have a sub d model, to sharpen edges sometimes you use loop cut tool and sometimes bevel. Is there a particular reason for using either tool or do they both do much the same thing? Really, what’s the criteria for choosing a specific tool? Also, I have Redshift, I’m really new to C4D, is there any chance of doing a vid showing how best to set up the renderer please? Anyway, thank you SO much for your amazing vids!!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you, it is great to hear that! Regarding your question, you can use both methods, beveling simply offers a quicker approach without any significant advantage. Also, it is capable of sharpening poles, that is all. Redshift tutorials are coming up, we are slowly getting there in the series!

hello to you, do you know if we have the possibility of creating open bevels on c4d? I didn't find a solution.
