This time, he’s showcasing new Makita products for Summer 2024. Filmed in Makita’s Milton Keynes headquarters, we got to see the products in action.
This video is all about the DRT52, Makita’s 18V Brushless LXT Trimmer, featuring cordless performance and weight equivalent to the superior 35ml class engine chainsaw.
It has new tool less change and tension adjustment of the saw chain as well as excellent acceleration. It also has Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions.

You went through absolutely none of the reasons why you would buy this over the drt50 router or even the key differences or advantages of this machine for trimming . As someone who trims furniture and worktops regularly so im probably the traget audience but from this demonstration it seems pretty pointless unfortunately ...
