Guess CFI "SWIFT"(LY) got you I to their colors after that joke eh Dave? Haha.
LOL, this
@@RidingWithDave congrats on the truck my dad is a truck driver as well and I am going with him soon and I always look out for you because this is my dream to meet you
Where's Dave's team partner?
@@riddickfurya3577 watch last video
Shame on the mess!
Honestly that was my first thought. I was like "oh here we go Dave hates the feightliner" lmao 🤣
I thought the same thing lmao🤣🤣🤣
The tape over the inward camera is a great peace of mind. It's hard to trust some companies' word. That is a really cool policy they have in place, pretty much you lose the privilege if you get in trouble, which is completely fair.
Exactly and supposedly you have to sign a form as well I forgot to mention, before they can legally film you, you have to sign something that you're aware you're going to be filmed.
@@RidingWithDave we have the same lytx camera in our kroger delivery vans, no tape on the inside camera 😬. It picks up, if you're not wearing your seatbelt, distraction, following too close.
trust me Dave I hire truck drivers... 1 backing incident is nothing in the grand scheme of things! if you ever want to look at another company let me know and I'll get you a quote per mile! we are a medium sized company that is still family owned! I think I could for sure get you more cpm
I remember watching you when I had no CDL now I got mine, glad you’re back driving again. I love the OTR videos, stay safe Dave!
Man I’ll be honest I haven’t been on this channel in a while when you first left cfi now that everything’s back like it was I can’t stop watching! Good stuff Dave
Dave I'm siging up for CDL School today and starting in September! Thank you for being a huge influence in my decision. I've wanted to do it for almost my entire life and I'm finally going to do it!
Nice ride. Any company would want as many drivers like you as they can get. On time to your stops and you are good for signing up new drivers . So a tiny mishap is nothing to them. Be safe and keep on truckin
RUclipsrs as successful bring the company more money, so yeah...... If they allow cameras and the youtuber brings in a lot of new drivers/revenue they want them.
Ok Dave, now I'll be on the lookout for the RED truck...Really enjoy the videos, truly appreciate the time and effort you put into making them...while doing your job. Be safe brother.
Thanks man!
I'm so excited that you got your desk back, Dave. Thanks for showing us around. Stay safe.
Your videos make my day every time, thank you Dave
Alright, guys, time to pitch in and buy Dave a booster seat so he's not like grandma who can't see over the steering wheel.
I’ve got an old phone book to donate.
I bet Dave is glad to have his desk back in the Kenworth
CFI needs RWD to edit his videos!
That’s pretty cool that CFI watches your videos and took into consideration that you wanted a t680 again.. they listened and hooked you up!
Yooooo that's crazy yesterday am at a truck stop and I see CFI rolling in front of me and I say oh look that's Dave then I remember you driving a Blue freightliner my favorite truck and now look at you
You are back in a KW 😁😁😁 be safe brother keep trucking
Looking good man! CFI got me in a 2023 back in May brand new. Only difference is all digital dash. Keep it up!
Congratulations on your new (ish) truck! Enjoy!
Cool bro, good luck with the new truck. Keep up the good work. Also as far as the trailer door gose, Try not to beat up yourself too much. Think of it more as a chance to learn and grow. But believe me, I could use my own advice become I'm hard on myself as well.
Nice one Dave, the trouble is that trucks are not designed by drivers and as a result they still don't get them right even after years of drivers complaining. Still hope you enjoy the Kenworth, stay safe buddy 👍👍
Congratulations Dave.
Glad your back dave. I missed the backing videos!
Congrats man! Love the truck
I like your videos Dave keep it up❤️👍🏻
i drove t680 80% of my 4 years now.... but this past 8 months been in 2021 freightliner and love it.
One of those knobs on the side of the chair will stop it from bouncing. I think you can set how much it bounces. It should fix your seat height issue.
So in hindsight, it was a great investment for CFI and transport America to merge. They bless their fleet with brand new trucks with features that was not available before. You got your new kenworth after all.
Hey Dave, great videos! Thanks for showing how CFI is. It’s a great company. Been here for 7 months now. Just wondering, are you a regional driver or still OTR? Keep up the good work!
i think that trucking is awesome you got me in to watching yours and others vids thanks so mush and you inspire me *^____^*
Love your videos and that is awesome about the new truck!
I love your videos man I’m thinking about getting on at cfi. Your videos make it look fun
Love the videos , great looking rig
What I like about your videos is there not "road movie's". Quality interesting content. Keep up the good work.
There Ya go Dave. Riding In Class Again! And that blue Freightshaker just looked too much like a Swifty Swift for it's own good.
Riding With Dave so you went from Crip Blue to Red Bloods I Been watching your videos couple months I Joy watching your videos it's entertaining you love your Job and you have Alot of Pride in what u do you will be a Legendary for CFI In 20 yrs
Nice ride Dave!!!! Good luck and be safe Nice video 👍
love the vids!
Yeah bro. I broken two doors completely off when backing. I work for a local company that did not report it thank God. That shit happens bro. I made my CB handle door breaker lol. I now have two years experience and I haven’t broken the door in quite a while. You’re a good driver Dave and getting better and better.
Glad to see you got a Kenworth again Dave.
New to your channel. I enjoy watching your blogs and look forward to new postings.
I like your key phrase of B-O-Y!! LOL
Every time you use it in a sentence I get tickled.
Keep up the great work Dave!!
Stay safe out there Dave and keep an eye on them crazy 4 wheelers!
At first when I saw the picture I thought you found another driver but this makes more sense very glad you feel like your back at home
Good to see you back in a T680
Enjoyed the video chap..excellent
Advice for sliding fifth wheel, go ahead and move it to a middle hole on your first load, makes. Turning radius easier
The desk is back! A happy trucker is a productive trucker! CFI obviously takes note of what drivers say. Enjoy!
Same thing I say cfi is watching he is a sponsor of their company basically
SWIFT is way better
Honestly if I were to go back over the road, I'd go with CFI just because I'm a fan of the T680.
Congratulations!
Sweet now Dave will be trucking in style👍 that's trucking.
I've got my truck set up so wonderfully I don't want to switch ever. I have a shower bag hanging in the back with a camping toilet and pop up privacy tent, 40 lb battery and chest freezer on the bunk and chest drawers strapped down up there as well. Its very comfortable when I'm doing my down time. Only thing I'm missing is an electric AC so I don't have to idle the truck. I'll figure that out eventually too. OH its a 2017 Freight liner, my first truck. Love her
You rocking and rolling
I just got my class a cdl back in February and i drive a freightliner dump truck every once in a while but i love it
Ripped 3 hinges off a door at IP in St. Louis doing same thing. I was so happy with my back and found out what I did when I got out. Big high then a big low.
just threw my app out using the link you provided we shall see! I drive DOT for Fritolay right now but no CDL I want to experience this! Looks so cool and free for the most part!
Nice looking "new to you" ride! Stay safe ❤️
Maannn you said 2022 I was hoping for the Next Gen. lol. Still a nice looking truck. Sliding 5th wheel is nice when you need some extra turn capability, not the easiest to slide sometimes from what I've learned lol This T680 is really nicely spec'd coming fro Transport America vs CFI.
Tell Christina Williams she’s awesome, loved having her as a dispatcher years ago!
they have small inverters that plug into the 12 volt port then u can use the ac plug rather than using an extension cord
Dave I missed you driving a t680 keep it cool
Dave Back in a KW!! Making you KENWORTH FAMOUS!!! IM STILL SEARCHING ON RADAR OUT THERE FOR YOU MAN! THE DAY I GET TO MEET YOU WILL BE AWESOME!!!
I seen your question on Instagram about the sliding fifth wheel. Always keep it between the two rear drives. You aren't gonna have to slide it doing dry van and having such a light truck
A few days ago I saw a CFI T680 and I thought "DAVE!!!!" but then I was like "aw man he's in a Cascadia now" lol but now I can once again look for a T680 😀😂
Love the new videos Dave Thts Trucking get used to it💯🔥
Loved the one I had while I was at Werner! Night and day difference from the Freightliner!
Love the vids
Get one of those 2” Purple cushions. They’re awesome!
Hey Dave I am a big fan of your channel videos keep it going 👍😎😎😎😎👍👍
Get like a Jackery portable power station or something like that. Im sure it plugs in to a 12 volt car charger, you can charge it while driving, and It's supposed to last a long time. Just something to think about.
ayy dave has the same predator laptop I do! Wether it be the kenny or the freightshaker; I'll still enjoy your trucking content. Big up from Jamaica
I miss the blue, but I do love Kenworths
the auto adjusting air seats on those kw are awesome i gotta say.
Beautiful truck🚛
Welcome back to Kenworth life
Dave in a Blue Frieghtliner is the only reason I keep watching this channel.
That’s trukin fer ya Dave !
I’ve always thought Cascadias to be very user friendly. Back in my CR England days (ugh *shudders*) I had to be carful not to confuse the Cascadia’s handling with a SUV. I didn’t have that seatbelt beeper though thank God. I would be tempted to find the fuse for that seat belt sensor and pull it.
Yeah it wasn't bad at all!
You didn't like CR England?
You guys are crazy for driving for the mega carriers to begin with.
@@dinosaursivac3511 why is it bad? The companies come with more job stability at this point and the company covers fuel cost whereas I'd hate to be an owner operator right now high fuel cost and overhead could cripple a small business man/owner operator furthermore I think the government is going to push gas prices high enough to make companies the dominant force and owner operators irrelevant because there's always someone else to take those low paying loads since all the owner operators that I watch on YT won't take them.
@@georgemclaughlin19 mega carriers blow. That's my thought. To big and get lost in the mix. I prefer mom and pop places. The company I work for has 60 trucks and runs dry van, reefer, and flatbeds.
Thanks for keeping America moving 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Best of luck in the new rig. You do need good pair of pull on boots like cowboys or bikers.
Cfi saw your cascadia tour and was like dave gotta have his desk back
Nice rig Dave
You may not know this, but most T680s that are set up like this one, the passenger seat slides inward and spins around to face the table...check it out and see. Yours may not have that option, but most do. I owned a T680 for four years and it was a great truck. A lot of comfort for my wife and I.
Congrats dave on ur new truck I drive for Marten Transport I got the same truck 2022 kenworth t680 I got it with 80 miles now it gots 87,786
It feel good to get in a new truck.
CFI puts everything on your DAC. When I was there, CRST clipped my trailer while I was sleeping and they put that on my DAC
Pulled a trailer across the nose of a truck at Ray Emericks Warehouse in Addison, Illinois, on my 2nd day by myself. My company was very understanding!
CFI is smart, of course get Dave into a nice new red KW, he is great publicly for the company, I pull doubles for a lot more than CFI pays And hell he makes me wanna drive for CFI
that's a nice truck you've got.
Something just feels right with Dave in a red truck. 😉
I was wondering why someone said "Hey, anyone know Dave? his old freightliner is over there" I was like huh? did he get a new truck? haha
Just waiting on a finisher now glad to be part of CFI :D
wow man.
It looks brand spanking new \o/
OL DAVE BACK IN A KENWORTH THERE BOYZE
They may have the stops set too low if you hit a hard limit on the seat height. If it is still "squishy" at max height it may be a valve issue. Either way the seat should go higher with some fixin' or adjustments. They may have it limited because the inverter controller is in such a stupid spot...🤷♂️ if you can't get it fixed, there are some pretty thick seat cushions out there. I wouldn't reccomend a purple seat cushion unless you can get one to try before you but, they are way overpriced and don't always work right for some people.
Have 21 and I love it the only thing is the air transmission when you mash the brakes alot and backing the seat drops and it has to build up
Hey Dave love your videos I’m highly thinking about driving trucks for CFI and have you thought about making 1 hour videos of driving?
CFI gotta keep you happy Dave. You're giving them spotlight time, and I am sure they need drivers. I don't even want to drive something that big, but if I did, I would probably do CFI, they seem chill and have good equipment. Keep doing what you do, you seem to be built for this. Get you a Peterbilt next.
i want to maybe get into big rigs but idk if i would like to be over the road like that.
@@brody8857 Good thing they've got other options than just OTR.
@@TheDJ3520 yeah but from most people ive heard you gotta do 1-2 years over the road for experience and then you can get hired almost anywhere. I'm looking into a Sherwin Williams distribution center near me to see if they pay for class A training. and I've been told by other drivers that they require OTR experience before you can do local stuff
@@brody8857 Pretty sure some of the people from my week at CDL school that went into CFI started in other places than OTR. At least one went regional and I heard another dedicated.
5:36 Hi Dave you can’t never not have enough tools! In someone else’s eyes it’s to much tools but in my eyes it’s just right! Lol if that makes any sense to anyone!
Very nice truck
@Riding with Dave Let's go Blues!
CFI gotta look good to potential future drivers
I like the kw but I loved the blue freightliner
Woohoo back in the kw
Nice truck
Cfi was my 1st company back in 2016 they open the door for me who never drove a truck before and I'm very grateful to them 😊
If that truck has the same "lunging" problem as your first Kenworth did, they can fix that at a dealership with a computer. Glad you are back, brother-!!!
Very nice truck. I drive a Pete but I do love Freightliners.
