    HI Matthew, I worked on the causeway in the morning and it brings back some memories of 2010 and still some of the same scenery there in Stanley Park hasn't changed at all. lol. I like how you edited and the different shots in chronologically significantly inspiring documentation of your Park's beauties, angles, dimensions, and deficiencies of the surroundings. Excellent collage bud.

    Are you still making the red hood sequel to the nightwing short?

    Really torn between this BMPCC and a Sony A series. I've seen some unbelievably good footage from both.

      I love this camera so far. Yes, its a bit more work to setup and get going but damn if the footage isn't incredible!
      Here's a couple short videos I shot with a Panasonic 12-35mm lens for a local business.

    What lens should I choose for MFT mount? I mean the same brand

  • @FranGonzalezPizani

    Hi, great vid. One question. Those lens comes for mount Micro 4/3 exactly like the lens that use the black magic pocket cinema 4k, my question is why did you use the adaptor viltrox? Thanks a lot.

    • @brentthomasaustin
      @brentthomasaustin 5 лет назад

      Metabones and Viltrox apparently reduce lens abberations and sharpen the image because they're narrowing the amount of light from a ff to mft. It also standardizes your mounts to ff across all your camera bodies giving you the ability to use only ff lenses. This saves you money, gives you a wide variety of lenses across all your camera bodies, and ff mounts are the most widely accepted lens which means more choices for you the consumer.

    I want that camera jajajaj, cheers from Honduras, hey how do you manage to balance the bmpcc4k in a gildecam? It is as any other camera or you had issues because of tha asimétric form and weight of the camera.

      Hey my Honduras friend! I had no issues with it. The Ronin-S on the other hand is a different story LOL.

    Which lens did you use from 0:38-0:45? I love the look of that shot!

    • @mattboxmedia
      @mattboxmedia  6 лет назад +1

      I believe it was my 85mm, and with the Viltrox it brings it closer to a 102mm.

    My Rokinon Lens Looks very soft when I use the Viltrox speed booster. Did you update your Viltrox before you used it?

    • @mattboxmedia
      @mattboxmedia  5 лет назад

      No I didn't. The Rokinon's can be softer when fully wide open, and apparently the Viltrox makes it more noticeable. Did you update yours?

    • @ericalmond5315

      what was the solution?

  • @darrylsmith3102
    @darrylsmith3102 6 лет назад

    Well, As you can see, Even with the Ronon s we still can't use Primes without getting a lot of Micro Jitter. Only Stabilized lenses give silky smooth movement.
    But nice vid anyway.

    • @mattboxmedia
      @mattboxmedia  5 лет назад

      This was actually done on a Glidecam, and after some fiddling, the jitter comes from me. Ronin-S would salvage these issues.

      Give it a shot when you get a chance. i have using Rokinon Primes, with no luck.
      Let us know your results.

      @@darrylsmith3102 I definitely will. I can barely balance it with the Rokinonn lenses on it, it's too heavy on the left. I'm going to try flipping the camera upside down until I get the Tilta N and can mount it to the right side to counterbalance the weight of the lens.

    • @darrylsmith3102

      Just but the camera up against to the Tilt motor. it balances beautifully.

    • @mattboxmedia
      @mattboxmedia  5 лет назад

      @@darrylsmith3102 I did that, but I have the 8Sinn cage on and the tilt arm would only literally be in an inch to balance it due to the weight. I'm going to build a counterweight for the right, but am lacking mounting options. Nano N should do it.
      So you've had jitter issues with the Ronin S and the Rokinon lenses? Do you have a metabones support on? What type of speedbooster you using?
