H1-Key debuted at the start of 2022 and Hwiseo is their main vocal, she also took part in Queendom Puzzle last year and ended up as the number 1 pick to be in EL7Z UP, the project group that was formed via the show (no mean feat considering the competition and the fact that H1-Key's fandom was quite small at the time). It wasn't that long ago that Sua had to deal with throat nodules that could have stopped her singing completely, so to hear her belt out a song like this always makes me very happy and a little emotional 'cause things could have gone very differently, she sounds amazing.
i mean its been 6 years since she had nodules. that was 2018 and while bad she has had plenty of time to recover that was pretty early into her carrer being 4 years after minx debut and only one after Dreamcatchers debut
@@abigailbabicki9362 Six years already...where the hell did they go? Feels a lot nearer than that, damn you time! I do get your point though, but I still think it must have been quite the hit to take after everything that happened with Minx and just as they were gettting traction as DC, to find out that she might have to give it all up. I dunno, I guess knowing she came out the other side and flourished as a singer as much as she has just hits me in the feels.
The show indeed has an interesting concept that makes me want to watch more of these secret duets. Hwiseo has a gorgeous voice and does a great job here, but SuA really shines. To me, she demonstrates she's fearless in the pursuit of her art. In that she's an unstoppable force, that has no reservations or shame. With her it's all about emoting the song, and I believe her when she says she's titanium. She very well might be.
This was the video that finally made me check out H1-KEY, and holy hell I am kicking myself for not getting into them sooner; they are spectacular and Hwiseo has got a crazy good voice. And SuA…I mean at this point I shouldn’t be shocked by how good she is, but every time I can’t help but just be so proud of her and her growth/improvement. Both of them killed this!
I am so proud of our queen SuA. She and Handong are focused in showing that Dreamcatcher does NOT have "sub vocalists". They've grown so much (all members), but I kind feel they were left out of conversation for too long and now they're claiming they're rightfully spot on the table. Yeah, I stan the right group!
Sua was great, Hwiseo was great, and this series is great 👍🏻 This series has just started (this ep, ep2, is the latest) but I'll have it on my radar 😊 Hwiseo is the main vocal of H1-Key. This 4 member group has been around for 2.5 years.
Hwiseo is from H1-Key, they debuted in 2022 and had a little bit of a rocky start with a member leaving a few months after debut due to "personal reasons" but the public wasn't too happy with that member due to some things they said. Hwiseo was added to the group shortly after and was an incredible addition to the group imo. If you're interested in seeing a bit from the group then I'd start with "Rose Blossom" since it was a song that has a bit of a viral moment on the korean charts and the reason most people in Korea know of them. I'd also recommend "Seoul (such a beautiful city)" and "Let it Burn", the former being another popular song of their and the latter being their latest title track. I do hope more insomnia's check out H1-Key, I've recently started to look into their stuff more and I'm quite impressed. It might not seem like it from this video but Hwiseo is actually really goofy and funny in variety content, I think she was just shy here due to not being with her members.
I don't know H1-KEY or Hwiseo so i cannot really comment on her except that she do have a nice voice. But as a InSomnia OMG Sua, when your main dancer would be the main vocal in other groups. Well, let's be honest here each members of Dreamcatcher is main vocals level, like each members is a main dancer or a main rapper level. That is why Dreamcatcher has become officially my number one group after being second place for years after GFRIEND/VIVIZ/Solo Members this year lol.
SuA and Seulgi need to collab. Both are Main Dancers who are AMAZING vocalists, far better than what their in-group labels say. VelvetCatcher for the win! :)
About the harmonization... SuA has been singing professionally for at least 10 years. Hwiseo is a main vocal in a kpop group and she came in first place on the Queendom Puzzle show which tells us she is very skilled and talented when it comes to vocal ability. I'm not a singer, professional or otherwise, but I would think that with that much skill, talent and experience they would probably be able to adjust pretty quickly to match the other person when harmonizing. I'm not saying it's easy, but when you have 2 people like this they probably have the capability to make it look easy and seamless. As for the duet itself, I was never a big fan of this song. Not that it's bad or anything, it just never really got on my radar. But this version, well, let's just say that I am very disappointed that it will never be on spotify or any other music streaming platform. If it was I'd add it to my playlist immediately.
My idea of tall is skewed cause I'm surrounded by giants so I was going to say that doesn't seem tall to me only to be humbled when I realized they're all noticeably taller than me 😅
@@AntiSocialPlanet Same. I missed getting to 5ft, 6in by one-half an inch. IF their facts-and-figures are correct, all four of these ladies are taller than me as well.
@AntiSocialPlanet yeah is 5'6" is debatable in western standards, but tall in korean standards, but 5'7" and up is usually tall, and 5'9" has so far been the tallest a female idols has ever been (Yel from H1-Key and Aisha from Everglow)
I believe they already super professional so they use some theoretical level too. Also the harmonies they did here is kinda "delayed" so for a second they could hear the starting note then deciding how would they harmonise each other. Also they might use screen in front of them for lyric bcs it sounded like they're reading hangeulised English (bcs I hear glass kinda like grass). So there's a probability they given clue should do upper or lower tone. Hwiseo said she could see the shadow moving after she said she was born in 2002. So there's a screen in front of them
Is it just my RUclips app, or did you have a lot of little cuts? Or just talking fast or maybe it's just my headphones but sometimes it sounded kinda speeded up or it sounded like there was a cut here and there while you were talking xD
Beide - SuA und Hwiseo - waren großartig. Das muss ich neidlos anerkennen.

I have a feeling it was suppose to be siyeon doing this, but SuA covered for her just like in the lives. Its amazing!!❤❤
I have the same feeling. The way Sua singing was so Siyeon's vibes. But if I'm wrong, well, at least we know that Sua is that good!
SuA absolutely killed it on this her vocals my God

Thanks for doing the reaction.
So we got a duet with a main vocal and a main dancer. SuA really holds her own here. Why am I not surprised? 😉
First time here, I approve of this YT channel😂
Great reaction and vocal analysis!
Welcome to the channel 😊

Love this cover and that’s our main dancer SuA! She can do everything

omg yesssss i was waiting for your reaction to this🎉🎉
Amazing vocals ❤
I hope you can also react eps 1..Chen from EXO and Hwe Seung from N.Flying..it so amaziiiing 🔥
Chen is in episode 1??? I'll definitely have to watch it
@@AntiSocialPlanet yaaaaasssss....can't waiting 😍
Definitely check out H1-Key! They're all tall!
Seoi - 5'6"
Riina - 5'8"
Hwiseo - 5'7"
Yel - 5'9"
Right, and here SuA is at her whopping 5ft, 3.75in (literally one-quarter-inch shy of being 5ft, 4in).
My idea of tall is skewed cause I'm surrounded by giants so I was going to say that doesn't seem tall to me only to be humbled when I realized they're all noticeably taller than me 😅

Up... up... up... up...
Down... up... down... up...
If anyone understands, then remain silent

I edited it the same way I do all my videos, which doesn't include speeding parts up so I don't know what that's about
