In this interview, Nirvana are very clearly just a couple of pals playing the music they love. Watching this, I felt like I was just hanging out with some friends. They had such staggering innocence and dorky personalities that's hard to come by with people of their success and you can see it a lot in this. I love it!
Krist is hilarious. He was making everyone laugh! I was hysterical watching this. I never knew he was this funny! Dave is, too but he gets shy. Kurt is serious and reserved but you can tell he was close with Krist because Krist makes him laugh often here and Kurt seems comfortable and genuine in his interactions with Krist. That’s what made Nirvana so cool! I never heard any of them bad mouth each other. They played tight, stuck together and the short time they lasted, made a huge impact! They did on me! It’s so sad hearing that they ended on those terms after seeing them like brothers in this interview and all others :(

I recently had this dream where I met Krist, Dave and Kurt, especially Kurt I even hugged him hold his face with my hands and told him that everything is gonna be all right and to do the same thing that John Lennon did in 1970 where he took a primal scream therapy to deal with his childhood traumas right after his parents got divorced so he can use that inspiration to write new songs and to help him coping his deppresion and mental health for his sake, man that felt so real is a blessing to have that dream for once

you guys want to hear a fun story ? i worked with a buddy who saw nirvana live in concert at the armoury in oregon, i forget which town.. anyways he told that while he was there prefunking for the concert he heard random people saying that nirvana was in the mess halls or bathrooms dying kurts hair red. Him and his buddies finally found the place they were talking about and went in and he said there was red all over the walls, doors, mirrors, and sinks like a bloodbath. He went to the show and when kurt came out on stage he had sported brand new red hair. anyways i am not sure if this is the red hair or not from that but i knew he wasnt a big nirvana fan just an old concert goer, and he was telling the truth. I think kurt might have dyed his hair again in 1992. ah well.. thought i would share. edit: OK so the show was the 1992 january 2nd salem armory show. Which is really weird because kurt has red hair here just days before!

he always seemed to me like the one human being who misses Kurt more than anybody else could do it, i mean literally more than Kurt's mother did.

I recently had this dream where I met Krist, Dave and Kurt, especially Kurt I even hugged him hold his face with my hands and told him that everything is gonna be all right and to do the same thing that John Lennon did in 1970 where he took a primal scream therapy to deal with his childhood traumas right after his parents got divorced so he can use that inspiration to write new songs and to help him coping his deppresion and mental health for his sake, man that felt so real is a blessing to have that dream for once

Krist always seemed to be making light of any situation ....doing his best to hide the true emotional depths and seriousness Cobain and Nirvana took the listener on
I think you're reading too much into things in light of Cobain's suicide. It's clear the band members mostly enjoyed their time together and just liked messing around in interview.

@@VambeefcoHorzey This. People forget that while the stereotypes about their being sad and depressing and serious business did already exist back then, Nirvana was a legitimately fun band most of the time. They did a lot of clowning around, much of which can be found here on RUclips.

you guys want to hear a fun story ? i worked with a buddy who saw nirvana live in concert at the armoury in oregon, i forget which town.. anyways he told that while he was there prefunking for the concert he heard random people saying that nirvana was in the mess halls or bathrooms dying kurts hair red. Him and his buddies finally found the place they were talking about and went in and he said there was red all over the walls, doors, mirrors, and sinks like a bloodbath. He went to the show and when kurt came out on stage he had sported brand new red hair. anyways i am not sure if this is the red hair or not from that but i knew he wasnt a big nirvana fan just an old concert goer, and he was telling the truth. I think kurt might have dyed his hair again in 1992. ah well.. thought i would share.
edit: OK so the show was the 1992 january 2nd salem armory show. Which is really weird because kurt has red hair here just days before!

@@vaguemartin im not sure. all i know is he is not savvy or have any reason to lie, so to hear him give a date so close to this and find the pink dye in the bathroom on top of local rumors kurt was dying his hair.. im guessing maybe kurt redyed it. im not sure only someone who was reallly there could answer that.
