Cumbrian Churches: All Saints, Lupton

The little church of All Saints, Lupton, is a fine example of the sort of small chapels of ease that proliferated in the 19th century, giving rural communities their own places of worship for the first time. All Saints is Neo-Norman, complete with an apse, and extremely simple, a rural church at its best.
