Cumbrian Churches: St Bartholomew's, Barbon

A complete Victorian church by Paley and Austin that replaced an earlier chapel, St. Bartholomew's, Barbon, is a good example of how to make a building impressive without high ceilings. It also contains some relics of the old Methodist chapel which closed earlier in this century.
