Champagne in Economy? Now that is classy French style Never tire of the grace that beast of a plane has. Been on that very flight and loved every minute. They had champagne at the drinks bar and I quaffed it all. *hic
nice video. I took this flight on October 2016, it was so good. I recommend people to take an A row seat since during the night you can check out your window and if you're lucky you'll see the northern lights as I did. the service was outstanding.
I flew jfk to cdg on a380....best over the pond flite ever....I was impressed by the entertainment and it was the best economy food I have had.....plane rode beautifully...
Funny how you praise the entertainment as Air France actually has the WORST A380 cabin.... (old and never updated). But glad you enjoyed the A380. Such a great plane!! 😍
What an informative and well presented trip report. Air France has very civilized service on the LAX-CDG route, nice. I can not wait to fly on their A380, when I do, though, it'll be from JFK. I don't think the flight time permits for the great experience you had on your trip. Thank you for sharing your awesome journey on Air France.
The food does look good. It looks better than what you get in Business Class on American Airlines. Also, I was in Berlin a couple weeks ago. A great city.
Thank you very much for filming this video. I really appreciate it, please do more! They are very informative and I can see what to expect on the plane. It was extra helpful that there was no talking! ^_^
I took this flight 3 months ago, I didn’t realize how long that line was, I guess I spent a lot of time at the lounge since when I boarded there was only like 5 people in front of me
Wow they give you so much food! I don’t think I’ll be able to eat everything lol. I’m flying from JFK to Paris CDG in March and I hope we are on an Air France A380! It’s my first flight ever so I’m pretty scared, I hope I will enjoy it!
they actually have gluten free meal options? Fucking hell, everyone expecting their special needs to be catered to. Find the gluten free stuff in what's available and be happy they had something.
I have taken 8 trans Atlantic flights an 6 inter Europe flights on Air France and never had a bad experience with the staff or food. Flew economy each time.
did you pay extra for your seat? or did you just select it at check in? I want this seat but I'm not sure whether its worth my money to pay for it if it will just be available at the time of check in
I’m flying from JFK to CDG in October 2018. I see how little room you have remaining in the leg room of your seat. May I ask, how tall are you? So I can compare ?
I have franche natienality this summer i'm going from algeria to paris 💪 I'm 16 years old i'm going to my mom house Wish me the luck guys i'm nervus This is the first trip and i'm going alone
I guess its a product of Power... They say one of the A380 engines has more thrust than all 8 engines of the C130 troop carrier put together! Now that's some motivation
Dont know what airlines you have flown on, but on every long haul flight iv been on since 1995 all the meals and drinks are free. Short 1 or 2 hour flights might be different , thats what your thinking of.
Took a long flight from Paris to Johannesburg and believe me it was the worst flight of my life. The seats are the worst ever I experienced in my life. The passengers beside me were struggling too and were constantly challenging for territory (the seat hand rest). The entertainment choices in terms of number of movies were good but it was less user friendly. You needed to go back and forth all the pages before returning to your choice of film. The food was ok and the crews were good. But the standard of the seats compare to other airlines were very poor.

I think Air France is Excellent Airline... Champagne on Economy and great meals and Attention on board better that other domestic airlines for sure !
Air France has a good cathering only from Paris, the meal is the same for all companies from LAX
Champagne in Economy? Now that is classy French style Never tire of the grace that beast of a plane has. Been on that very flight and loved every minute. They had champagne at the drinks bar and I quaffed it all. *hic
+darkandcute40 hahaha nice ;) yes Air France serves champagner on every longhaul flight i think
My husband had a Cognac after dinner. That was in economy.
I asked the flight attendant if I could have champagne and she said no ☹️ oh well, I’ll try again on my MEX- CDG flight on the A380 too
@Jesse Garibay: Did you try? I will be flying that same route! How was it?
I’m going on this flight in three weeks!
nice video. I took this flight on October 2016, it was so good. I recommend people to take an A row seat since during the night you can check out your window and if you're lucky you'll see the northern lights as I did. the service was outstanding.
+Hector Morales cool! I didn't see northern lights :( - wrong side of the plane... but the service was really good too xD
what are the chances youll see the northern lights?? i'm going in december so
I flew jfk to cdg on a380....best over the pond flite ever....I was impressed by the entertainment and it was the best economy food I have had.....plane rode beautifully...

But glad you enjoyed the A380. Such a great plane!! 😍
The meal was awesome.
Awesome video mate!
thank you!!

I was surprised by the chicken in my flight, one of the best ive ever eaten.
food looked good? Uh, most of it was pre-packaged junk food and a 1/2 sandwich haphazardly wrapped and poorly presented.
A380!!! The wing is so big omg. Nice flight review man, liked.
thanks a lot!
Nice video thank you!
That looks like you did very well...That is a big aircraft...Enjoy Paris, France...
flying to CDG from MEX to get to berlin, i'm so excited to fly in the a380
Luis Eduardo Cortés Moreno How was it?
Great report, I really enjoyed it!
+Marko Popara thanks a lot!
Thank you very much for filming this video. I really appreciate it, please do more! They are very informative and I can see what to expect on the plane. It was extra helpful that there was no talking! ^_^
I wonder if all pilots are fully trained to deal with frozen pitot tubes during a flight? Just wondering..
Very nice video! Thanks for the review. I’ll be traveling on AF A380 this week! :)
We had seats next to the meal prep area. The crew were having an all night chat fest there.
personally was not a fan of flying the A380 from LAX-CDG and back but good review, just as it was on my roundtrip flight
What didn't you like about the flight?
You can watch fifty shades of grey?! Good luck to the person sitting next to you
Yes, I like the pasta meals when flying long trips.
I have never been to a plane beforewish one day I travel by air and have this kind of treatment
Aw. Your comment is a year old. Have you had a chance to fly yet
Great video Bro. I am a very big fan of these "Tripreport" Videos. Keep them coming
Thank you! I will upload more of these every week from now!
I have in 2015 From San fransisco to Paris to with a a380 i sitting on the upper deck
Did you feel any turbulence ? Just curious because I heard you feel less turbulence on bigger planes.
Awesome trip report!!!!!! I love the LAX International terminal.
+Daniel thanks a lot!
Going on this flight in March. Thank you for sharing :)
Really want to fly there to Paris. Thanks for the video
Nice flight-report :-)
thanks a lot!
Good flight view!
Je rêve d'y aller
The seat space in economy is ok...I know us tall guys sometimes has a problem...
I'm 5 ft and it feels small. Poor super tall guy next to me had the window seat. He was all doubled up.
Show demais
I'm taking this exact flight on the 22nd! Flight 65 at 3:30 p.m. Can't wait!
My family and I are taking this flight next Wednesday! I'm a bit of a nervous flyer, watched this to help.
Oscaraleptico There's nothing to worry about! I just took the flight, Paris is amazing! And the service is great. Enjoy your trip!
@@suakim12 thank you! Looking forward to it.
le vol est-il confortable?
I took this flight 3 months ago, I didn’t realize how long that line was, I guess I spent a lot of time at the lounge since when I boarded there was only like 5 people in front of me
I’ve been on air France so many times that I know almost everything 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Paris a tant de points de repère, y compris le Louvre, la Tour Eiffel et le Stade de France.
Great post. Thanks for sharing. I'm planning a family trip to Europe and looking for the right airline. Merci!
+949surferdude welcome! I recently uploaded a review of American airlines (great) and British Airways (poor) on the same route ;)
10:28 looks nice with all the little lights from the IFE screens to the no smoking lights.
Qui est français ici
Wow they give you so much food! I don’t think I’ll be able to eat everything lol. I’m flying from JFK to Paris CDG in March and I hope we are on an Air France A380! It’s my first flight ever so I’m pretty scared, I hope I will enjoy it!
Chicken in lime & butter looked great 👍🏼👌🏼 I'll search for recipe
+Maria Marlene enjoy ;)
What's better? The a380 or 777? I'm planing on studying abroad in Paris in July.
+Jared Lowey A380!
What makes it better than the 777?
+Jared Lowey the cabin is a bit newer and the plane is an experience fot it self ;)
@@applefan2151 Its quieter
Do you know if the Gluten-free meal options on AirFrance are any good?
they actually have gluten free meal options? Fucking hell, everyone expecting their special needs to be catered to. Find the gluten free stuff in what's available and be happy they had something.
nice video. good work.
God Bless
Love from India
AIr France Economy is as good as many airline's Business Class. Just more people.
Is all that extra food free?
+HARMONY LING LING yes - Air France is no budget airline ;)
It will be my first time flying with them to Europe in Feb, so thanks for the review!
+HARMONY LING LING welcome! Enjoy the A380 flight ;)
un excelente servicio que te brinda air france
Your seat was in firsst or second floor?
+Shon Ingel first floor ;)
I have taken 8 trans Atlantic flights an 6 inter Europe flights on Air France and never had a bad experience with the staff or food. Flew economy each time.
Good video
Thank you!
did you pay extra for your seat? or did you just select it at check in? I want this seat but I'm not sure whether its worth my money to pay for it if it will just be available at the time of check in
+David Herrera i got it at checkin
What day did you takeoff on?
It was in June 2015 - i guess it was the 9th or so.
A good review
I’m flying from JFK to CDG in October 2018. I see how little room you have remaining in the leg room of your seat. May I ask, how tall are you? So I can compare ?
Ok ;)
At that time i was around 1,64 meters
che bello a giugno ci vado!!
i flew the same route with the a380 too last summer
Cool. However I find the cabin pretty outdated..
Was dinner, breakfast free with flight?
sure! Air France is no budget airline so everything is included.
für economy ist dies ein sehr gutes mahlzeitenangebot. der Clou natürlich champagner als aperitiv. danke fürs einstellen.
how much did the ticket cost? i'm interested in flying SAN-LAX and LAX-CDG but only if it's cheaper than just flying to the east coast
+Isabelle Frank TXL-cdg-LAX and back was ~600€ p.P. (may-june)
Ok in 0:15 You say I fly the correct wording is I’m flying Air France’s .....
Nice Video
me i fly hug to paris in the a380 and its tiring but better than the 777
What's up with the ads every 3 minutes
I have franche natienality this summer i'm going from algeria to paris 💪
I'm 16 years old i'm going to my mom house
Wish me the luck guys i'm nervus
This is the first trip and i'm going alone
Soldiers of Darkness bienvenue!
What a massive a380 sound!
+SULTAN BOOSSTAP sakr yes! That was my first A380 flight 2 years ago. My second, third, fourth and fifth will be in 1-2 months all ;)
i’ve been on an a380 from charles degal airport to lax
NarrJDM Where the seats comfortable? What about leg room?
Doesn't every airline give a blanket and pillow on long haul flights?
+Pixel Adventurer not all... and there are always differences
Im go to from paris to caribien for 2 mounths i have 10 hours flight
do they have electric outlets in economy?
+oxygala can't remember since that was 2 years ago... but if there is one it certainly in the video! Also i think they just have usb ports for phones
oxygala Yup!
They have charging ports for tablets, etc.
13:27 cookie monster
Its a wonder you can even think that thing will fly... It's ENORMOUS!
+SquillyMon i agree ;) if you think about it - 500+ people in one plane on 2 decks (actually 3 if you count the cargo deck too!)
I guess its a product of Power... They say one of the A380 engines has more thrust than all 8 engines of the C130 troop carrier put together! Now that's some motivation
Two hotmeal services and two snacks for an 11-hour flight? Poor cabin crews.. that seems very tiring for them!
klass
Air France is not as good as before. Just look at the IFE, it is so oldscool in a such new plane. Incomparable with the Emirates A380’s.
KXY5 I mean some air France flights look better like airbus
KXY5 they are changing the seats and the IFE
get me the fhak outta here on this plane!
shocking tv size compared to emirates economy
Air france, the worst airline with more accidents
We're the meals and drinks free
yes they are free - and on most long haul flights you get 1-2 free meal - just not on Norwegian or Westjet...
Dont know what airlines you have flown on, but on every long haul flight iv been on since 1995 all the meals and drinks are free. Short 1 or 2 hour flights might be different , thats what your thinking of.
