It’s really crazy how the tone of this game completely changed from “gory but somewhat humorous happy wheels like physics thing” to somehow something that’s feels existential and creepy to the point where it almost feels lovecraftian
Some Easter eggs and info: The reason the Gorse smells like burnt glue is because of how old glue was made. Horse hooves. The words Gorse and Horse are very similar. The Gorse is believed to be a failed experiment. There is a chance for pumpkins to spawn a black mist when cracked open. Powering a jukebox with a generator (or the industrial one from what I remember) and an electrical wire and putting a human beside used to kill them instantly. You might need to freeze the jukebox first or disable it from breaking. The worm staff was added to the game during the “Mutilate a Doll” collaboration. Putting a TV between Midnight and 3AM (if I remember) will cause it to play a different video. The machine that you use to get in that long room actually has some backstory to it. Pretty sure that the image from the last video that you said couldn’t be accessed is actually the blueprints for it. The reason you couldn’t access it is because the bytes in it are duplicated. You’ll need to use a code/script to remove those. Then you’ll see an inverted version of the machine. And the code for the keypad is actually comes from the TV video with the circle, which actually means you need to use the circumference to solve it. Also, in the room, there should be two radios near the middle or end of the hall. Using the pink syringe on the liquid identifier machine will show randomized effects. The light from an exploded atom bomb in the Hybrid map will expose a room in the bottom corner. It is believed that this is the chamber where they tested on horses to make the Gorse. The acid, which the Gorse uses as a projectile and give it the green appearance, the lava to mutilate the Horse and give it the burnt smell and the water to stop it from melting or burning too much. We also have reason to believe that the long room in the Hybrid map was where the sentry guns and guns were tested due to it’s length and lighting. In an older version, there used to be a vase on of the blocks in the top corner in the Blocks map. Destroying this used to crash the game. To get the pacifist achievement, you can either place a human in a chamber and do absolutely nothing for like 10 hours, or use the accelerator mod and speed it up. While you do that, you need to make sure you move your mouse around. The TV screens have a chance to display: “”excuse me” he said as he pushed the child down the elevator shaft” and other weird texts The Faraday Malfunction achievement badge is used to display the fact that something escaped. A faraday cage basically shields electrical fields from entering due to the conducting material, like a trap. And to show that it broke means that something dangerous escaped the lab. We can also tell that damaging or escaping the lab is not allowed since, as stated in the previous episode, an alarm plays when you dislodge a block in the Blocks map. If you take apart the pieces from a sentry you should see a purple smile behind the turret part.

i remember seeing a theory that the gorse was actually dead humans. and the secret files that sound like screams (4:10) are actually humans being transformed into them. pretty interersting if you ask me. also fun fact i got 2 of the secret audios to play. 99% sure they are ambience you can hear. also on the hybrid map the starting sound is different. ok i did some exploring and i found a few things. there is a sound that plays in the corner of the map hybrid. in hybrid there is a secret room that you can only see if you set your brightness to 400%. and the hybird room awfully resembles the secret inverse teleportation room.

YESSS AFTER TWO MONTHS WE GOT ANOTHER ONE! Edit: 4:09 is just the most terrifying sound I've ever heard. From what I understand it comes out of a secret radio hidden on the tower map. It was in an old build of the game and apparently is now removed. With half of these sounds you can only merely speculate what the noises are but this noise in particular absolutely sounds like screams of pure agony and it's horrific. Also again from what I understand from watching other videos is that the radio chatter apparently says something along the lines of "I can't get out this warehouse" this is sort of implying that this "warehouse" could perhaps be an anomaly (like the infinite IKEA from scp) where once you're in you cannot leave. Though that's just mere speculation by me, a random guy from the internet. There is just so much you can theorise about this game but zero answers to anything that's what makes it so intriguing

there are a bunch of secret liquids in the game which arent directly spawnable, and require you to extract them or be made by mixing substances you have tritium, which can be extracted from nuclear bombs, where it can heal brain damage, exotic liquid, which is made by mixing tritium and water breathing serum, which makes humans produce blue sparks, immortality serum made from tritium and mending, which makes humans immortal and kills androids, and osteomorphosis agent, which melts the skin off a human. you also have beverage m04, which has weird effects, such as melting gorses, acting like adrenaline for humans and stops the hearts of androids, which can be extracted from bottles
There’s actually 3 codes behind the panel that can be seen with red green and blue lights as they are colored that way, and you used to be able to spawn in the huge revolver from the spawn menu and it was called “Normal Sized Gun” people theororize that the player only has control over things they make because the radios in the secret hallway only have very limited options to interact with them and the gun obviously since it’s so hard to control it.
The Normal Sized gun thing. I believe there is a theory that people created these humans in the game that are just little dolls. The gun is actually what a normal sized gun would be for a normal human. They created the dolls for either expirements or fun.

I know im a bit late to the video, but yeah i hope someone actually reads it Here's my personal headcanon about the lore of this game: the player is kind of a tester for an SCP-like organization that's trying to develop teleportation/interdimentional travel. The reason why you can only test on the maps available in the game is that they're places where its easier to transport things through dimensions (hence the big gun and inversed teleporation easter eggs). New maps being added are just the organization discovering new kind of these places. That also kinda explains why all of the maps have these metal lab-like panels in the background. The mechanical sounds may be just some workers uhhh working, and the sussy sounds could be things from other worlds the organization is trying to get to Btw, i think you should cover Rogue Glitch. Its a great free game that should be WAY more know than it is, seriously, its a great roguelike that looks amazing, has FANTASTIC music, and beeg potential for lore

There’s some secret rooms on some maps. I know there’s one on hybrid though. If you zoom out and use a thermonuclear bomb you can spot them easily. I also feel like the vents in the secret rooms play music.

I believe the gorse is using some form of formaldehyde that can break down organic compounds like an acid, which would easily explain the smell of burnt glue. That, and there was some other lore aspect to the game which helped tie the knot of relations, yet I forgot it.
I found something in the Hybrid map, if you drop a fusion bomb, pause the game and zoom out, youll see this small, random room in the bottom left of the map. im not sure if there is any major secret linked to the room
The sound at the tower map could be implementing that the tower is falling over or fell over long ago and the gorse is not symmetrical which is strange as most things in ppl playground is symmetrical so gorse was probably created like this a guy was making a bot (due to the strange gray joints at the legs)when acid fell over on the bot which made a reaction so it would smell like glue and burnt it which is why it is brown an the acid got in the system
some of the creepy sounds i think are the results of some achievements or happenings in the facility (like one of the ones near the end sounds like security/faculty communicating with walkie-talkies)
if you didnt know in that long hallway from the last video you made on this game there is a radio that can be encountered idk if its removed or not but its there
3:06 the sound plays when you smash a pumpkin sometimes - on hybrid, there is a sign above the left side of the lava pit - on hybrid there is a secret room, deep underneath the right side of the testing area, you can easily see it by detonating a nuke or thermo-nuke and pausing while the screen is bright
My guess is that those sound effects are meant for abyss. If my guess is correct then abyss is like the part of the game that isn't really part of the game and is the closest to other games because most soundeffects sound like they are from other games.
There are weird objects in that long hall you get to by creating the portal, to easily find them just make a big light source and scroll trought the entire map
To copy what I commented on the last video recently: The video on the TV on Tower with the music and the circle really reminds me of things similar to the Dharma Initiative on Lost, with their "training videos" and "orientation videos." To me this might be the first glimpse of the "company" logo, of whatever organization owns these facilities. Gives me an Aperture Science vibe. To add: I don't believe this commenter is *completely* correct, first of all the symbol is depicting just the radius, not the formula finding the circumference. Regardless, I don't believe a small snippet presented for a puzzle would include its own background music and animation. It may very well represent a formula, but I do think it was stylized for a logo. Aperture Science of the Portal series uses a camera apereture for its logo, this company may use this radius symbol as its logo, as it also represents a face - we are playing PEOPLE playground after all. I may be reaching, but everything in this game is done for a reason, they would not add more production value to such a small easter egg unless it meant something more.

There’s some secret rooms on some maps. I know there’s one on hybrid though. If you zoom out and use a thermonuclear bomb you can spot them easily. I also feel like the vents in the secret rooms play music.

my headcannon for people playground is that the people you kill owe money to some shady organization, and they refuse to pay, almost like a mafia, so, they get used as test experiments

I believe the gorse is using some form of formaldehyde that can break down organic compounds like an acid, which would easily explain the smell of burnt glue. That, and there was some other lore aspect to the game which helped tie the knot of relations, yet I forgot it.
I found something in the Hybrid map, if you drop a fusion bomb, pause the game and zoom out, youll see this small, random room in the bottom left of the map. im not sure if there is any major secret linked to the room

The sound at the tower map could be implementing that the tower is falling over or fell over long ago and the gorse is not symmetrical which is strange as most things in ppl playground is symmetrical so gorse was probably created like this a guy was making a bot (due to the strange gray joints at the legs)when acid fell over on the bot which made a reaction so it would smell like glue and burnt it which is why it is brown an the acid got in the system
some of the creepy sounds i think are the results of some achievements or happenings in the facility (like one of the ones near the end sounds like security/faculty communicating with walkie-talkies)
if you didnt know in that long hallway from the last video you made on this game there is a radio that can be encountered idk if its removed or not but its there

In the map substructure You can hear a faint alarm at times. It plays randomly.
go to hybrid, go to the end of the weird little hallway and keep pressing clear all until you see the easter egg, it's quite creepy and cool too.

I was playing people playground on the facility map and was aying for a while when one of the creepy file sounds started to play. It creeped me out

- on hybrid, there is a sign above the left side of the lava pit
- on hybrid there is a secret room, deep underneath the right side of the testing area, you can easily see it by detonating a nuke or thermo-nuke and pausing while the screen is bright
The sound where it sounds like a creature of sorts screaming or screeching is terrifying

Hmm in my opinion you should do more secrets about idk some games that have a huge secrets but no one is making video of it
Substructure seems to be some abandoned lab building or something it's strange mabey you should look for Easter eggs such as a tile
My guess is that those sound effects are meant for abyss. If my guess is correct then abyss is like the part of the game that isn't really part of the game and is the closest to other games because most soundeffects sound like they are from other games.
There are weird objects in that long hall you get to by creating the portal, to easily find them just make a big light source and scroll trought the entire map
When I play people playground it gives me Backroom vibes and the sound you played sounds like the monster in the backrooms

The video on the TV on Tower with the music and the circle really reminds me of things similar
to the Dharma Initiative on Lost, with their "training videos" and "orientation videos."

What I got from this is the circle forms to look like the side profile of a person, with a mouth and eyes.
To me this might be the first glimpse of the "company" logo, of whatever organization owns these
facilities. Gives me an Aperture Science vibe.

I don't believe this commenter is *completely* correct, first of all the symbol is depicting just the radius, not the formula finding the circumference.
Regardless, I don't believe a small snippet presented for a puzzle would include its own background music and animation. It may very well
represent a formula, but I do think it was stylized for a logo. Aperture Science of the Portal series uses a camera apereture for its logo, this company may
use this radius symbol as its logo, as it also represents a face - we are playing PEOPLE playground after all. I may be reaching, but everything in this game is done for a reason, they would not add more production value to such a small easter egg unless it meant something more.

Maybe, you should play these sound files through a spectrogram, especially the one that sounded like gibberish. One of them was surely human speech, but it just wasn't right. Maybe you could play it in reverse and get something.

Another easter egg I've experienced only once, I killed a person and a soul-like thingy (white, pale) released from their body with a scream-like sound then dissapiated.

It blocks different wavelengths by breaking them apart.
It's used by NATO and other militaries to protect equipment from Electronic Warfare.
Some of those scary noises come from random chance of breaking a pumpkin a spirit will escape from it
Me, and russian community of ppg RUclipsr, found rare secet at new map with elevator(I forgor name), on stairs to bath, with EXTREMELY low chance, some sounds start playing, like from sort of mosque, angel choir, we called that "cleaning", because, when u are born as chrestian, u "clear" with holy water.
the tower place is propably a room or some anomaly if not only the tv reacts to this place
