It's pretty clear that the aesthetics of the game are completely fake since we know that photo-realistic items exist; the 'Normal Sized Gun'; the 3D piping behind the removable panel; the sirens found in the secret map.
So here's my (somewhat far-fetched) theory: You, the player, are some kind of omnipotent being that has been contained within this 'facility' for the sole reason that you're a threat to human existence. The aesthetics of the game are all fabricated by the people in charge of keeping you contained, with fake human ragdolls created as a stand-in for real people since they don't particularly want to see actual humans being torn apart like toys.

Everything behind the metal walls is supposedly the real world right? Well that real world is probably the REAL real world, like as in the one behind the screen. That sort of explains the huge gun being called “Normal sized gun”. Because it’s the size of an actual irl gun. But it doesn’t explain the small pipes and radio tho so I don’t really know
Also, if this were the case, the sirens in the secret map could be a single that you have escaped containment
That makes the map being deleted when you create the black hole so much darker because the world literally just gets destroyed
This portal can be used multiple times. Also the new audio in there could be put though a spectrogram to see if it has anymore secrets. Possibly infinite dimensions that could hold secrets. Maybe this game is not a playground anymore and has something big going on.

Here's my theory. My guess is that us (the player) is a creature being held in a lab. Those random background noises must be the sounds of the lab. I'm guessing we are getting humans to keep us entertained and to stop us from escaping. You can see that the background is all pixelated but when you go through the wormhole, the background and lights are high quality. So my guess is that we escaped our confinement and are now wandering in the lab. That would explain the blaring of the alarms indicating that we escaped.
But.
How do you explain the infinite wormholes from the gate shaper?

i just did, it doesnt seem like any environment settings work
i made a car with a bunch of floodlights fixed to it + a generator powering them, and I found 2 weird looking radios on the way. i didn't go left, only right.

So, from what I get: the hallway is a place where all removed things by the developers go. Because the 2 radios that are there were items that are now removed from the game.

I have a theory as to what the lore is. Not for the tunnel, but for the entire game.
So, it all starts with the "Inverse Teleportation" achievement. Why here? Because, in the game, the gun's name is "Normal Sized Gun". With how realistic its texture may be, and its size, we can assume this is, indeed, a normal sized gun outside of the facility. The humans are also much smaller than the gun. My theory is that the people in the game are NOT humans, and that they are rather some miniature ragdoll, with organs and items to fit their sizes. So it is not real people we're killing, but rather what I just said. Now, about the infinite items, you know about the decimator, right? Its description states "Can phase items out of existence by _deconstructing its individual atoms_". So what if they just use one massive object, with loads of atoms, to construct the items by reassembling them in a different order? After all, the host item wouldn't need to be too massive, since the items are small, so it could be true. Now for the tunnel, it could be the entrance to the facility. You wouldn't want a being with unlimited power to be free, wreaking havoc on the world and possibly the universe. So, once you get there, it could be that it went into lockdown.
So, that's what I have for now. If anything else surfaces i'll make something else up for it lol

There is an achievement named "Faraday cage malfunction" with a picture of a faraday cage with a gap in it.
It is unlocked on the map "tower" by placing an activated television on one of the balconies on the left side of the tower. Once the television is on while in the spot, you will not see the usual TV show showing industrial plants with a German guy speaking but instead see a short video about the radius of a circle.
Strapping and wiring a metal pole to the top of a jukebox somehow turns it into a radio but you will get nothing but static unless you place it in that spot on the tower. You will still get mostly static but also some distorted radio tuning noises.
The player may infact be some sort of divine being that is trapped and isolated from the outside world in chambers. *That sounds like some SCP shit right there.*

white radio was on map Abyss, it was in secret room, it could be deleted with right click and just like here map deletes with radio, also the radio did just play music, and could play beeping sounds when you right click and click on little square at the bottom, I know that these beeping sounds are secret message but I don't remember what exactly this was, now it's only in this secret map and I don't think it has any sounds now

In the hallway of the uncharted territory there are two hyper realistic yet pixelated radios, I don't know if the spawn chances are the reason for why in most videos people just cant find them or they don't look hard enough. I don't know what they do or if this is commonly known if you do know pls help me understand ( I do know milkman finds them in this video)

I GOT A THEORY: pink fluid releases energy and its used in pink bombs and many other things, pink energy is in the 2 portals you can open, the strange pumpkin sound named pink is from where pink fluid is absorbed by a pumpkin and energy is released, the decimator has pink energy as the pumpkins pink energy is the same as decimator, and PINK ENERGY BENDS SPACE AND TIME ITSELF AND THAT IS HOW IT DOES THIS STUFF, so the entire game is a massive facility , uncharted territory is the hallway to the exit, void is outside, and the screams from the tower are people being made for you to teleport to your cursor, as you are just a manifestation of pink energy that warps objects to where you are, a factory is in the facility that makes the stuff, and the people being made are not people, but rather, creatures made so that pink energy beings like the player mistake it for a human so that no real people die, and there is more than one exit, as on different maps, you may get different uncharted territories based on your location, and the facility is small so that no pink energy can ever manifest itself to be large enough to get through to the other end of the void, and enter the real world, and inverse teleportation is pink energy IN THE LASER POINTER bringing a gun from the real world to the game, and pink energy is used in everything in the facility, as it is a very helpful form of energy that never runs out, and constantly is being produced more and more, mods are different factories made by the manifestations of pink energy, and pink is the color of a brain, further pointing out that the player is the pink energy, gorses are other creatures, also produced by the factory, and i am only using commas to seperate ideas, not seperatre sentences, because i like hitting the comma key, and having really bad run-on sentences, and SOAP IS PINK FLUID AS ICE, as it can instantly clean any object, no matter how dirty it is, and i think the factory reuses the grime that is teleported back by soap to make an endless supply of objects for the player to warp, and randompersons theory about infinite dimensions is prob also true, along with timelines that pink energy manifestations can travel between like the soul in undertale, but rather than through saves, its by using spectrograms and other tools to get there, and warping objects from the dimensions to theirs, just every dimension apart from the real world is part of the facility
edit: i think the portals suck objects from whatever reality its linked to and that when you use energy vessel explosive, it uses pink energy to make a portal but it is inverted, same with black hole, and the facility world is on a computer in the real world that the player sees in real life, and that the pink energy is a manifestation of the player and the code of the game itself, and that each dimension is closer to reality than the last, but that you can go differentr routes with portals to go different paths through space and time to find other games, cartoons, the backrooms, and that the map select screen is part of the facility with portals in it itself, and the settings is another way that pink energy bends space and time, but each time you load a map, its a different version of that reality, and the chance is infinitely slim that you find real life when reality surfing, detached beam cannon uses an extreme amount of pink energy, and so does archelix caster, nthe crystal is also frozen pink fluid just like soap, and pink liquid does not freeze through temperature, but through time outside of a universe, faraday malfunction is referring to a faraday box/shield thing which keeps anything in it safe, but blocks all signals, but faraday malfunctions achievement icon shows a hole in the box that lets signals from other worlds into the tower map universe, and the signal is YOU GUESSED IT, PINK ENERGY! also pink energy is the power of someones spirit, and it is abundant in the abyss and inside the tower, and the void is where the games code is, and faraday malfunction has happened before, allowing the player into the world of people playground, right when the player buys the game, and this happens every time someone buys the game, and more and more pink energy invades every universe to ever exist, and the factory uses pink energy in the steam workshop to make new maps (more universes for more pink energy to invade), and outside of the facility universes, there is the void, a universe between them, but pink liquid fuses where the void isnt there and no other universe is, and pink energy is what holds universes together, what changes them, what makes them, what destroys them, what steals from them and transports objects between them, a force similar to the strange green energy from the resonance cascade from half life, the tool gun from gmod, the soul from undertale, and the save feature from undertale too, along with every games code, and mods for any game too, and i think that other tools outside of people playground for figuring out how to make portals acts as pink energy simply finding whatever rift in reality it can, and ripping realitys scab open, and crawling in

Huh, that is an interesting tesla-portal design. I am surprised it works. I followed a different tutorial to make it, one that used those plans you are supposed to use. Oh well.
I mean, I also explored the hidden map with a super-light that I saved, and found two weirdly realistic objects in the center of the map with weird object rules, but that could have just been a mod I had installed or something. The objects didn't do anything, and I couldn't do anything with them other than drag them about a bit. No audio from the objects either.
Nevermind, they found the objects in the video. Ignore the statement about the audio I made. I probably just had it muted.
I also found that I could spawn a realistic TV afterwards that looked similar to the objects, but again, I couldn't interact with it other than dragging it, deleting it, etc. along the lines of not activating or using in any way.
This game just gets deeper and deeper.
