Saw them in Dallas recently and was quite overwhelmed. 11 on stage to a crowd including U North Texas jazz folk. At 70 and a lifelong music enthusiast I came out of there wondering if it was the best I’d ever heard! Crazy.
Other than Weather Report, Pat Metheny Band , Brian Blade & The Fellowship or the original Miles Davis Quintet, there likely is not a better project out. Peace!
Last time I played at noda they made me sign a contract saying the was 150$ nonnegotiable. Then they booked me for 3 shows then canceled them without compensation! Hope they treated snarky better than that.
maaaan that breakdown on Bling Bling is pure genius. First time hearing the song, i was tripping heavily on DMT and it caught me off guard, for a second i almost spiraled towards a bad trip. When i realised it's the music that went wonky, not my mind haha, i just went with it and it didn't dissapoint. A truly psychedelic masterpiece
