The special needs class at my old elementary school actually had a Pico. I remember there was one special Ed student who really liked playing the Sesame Street game on it. Of course at the time I didn’t know what the system was, and just thought it was some weird LeapFrog style toy that hooked up to a TV

My cousin had a Sega Pico, it was really neat!
I've heard about the Beena before, but I didn't remember it was actually new hardware, I thought it was still a Mega Drive with a different shell like the original lol
I'll be honest though, I played on his Super Nintendo a whole lot more lol

And now, the ePICO has been announced, making it SEGA's first ever console since the Beena.

I never knew about this console until your previous video. I literally thought the Dreamcast was the last console.

I can’t believe you’re literally bitching about what is essentially a plug ‘n play console using composite video cables. Like, HDMI wasn’t even the standard until at least 2010, and most people in 2007-‘08 still had a TV with composite inputs. The Nintendo Wii literally uses composite hookups

Man I had always wondered about this particular system, seeing as it was their last system.

Hmm, I'd have to get a closer look at that connector, but from what I can see I think that looks similar to some AV cables I have from (I believe) PDAs and some early cellphones, unfortunately I've only ever seen them with composite video (and maybe one with S-Video?), so not much hope for cleaner outputs there

Can this really be played without a TV? The wiki says it can, but how does it work?

Actually, sega has made the master system 3 in Brazil. I think there is also a master system 4.

Those were made by TecToy and licensed by Sega, not actually by Sega themselves

This is a good video and an interesting console, but some of things you say here are just annoying. You praise this console for using standart SD cards instead of a proprietary format, yes, this is something nice, but this would be notable if this was a mainstream console. I don't think selling proprietary cards for this thing could make much money, and more importantly, Sega probably didn't have resourses to develop them, they were in a bad state, it's not like Sega did this because they were good and pro-consumer. Then, you praise Beena for having a plastic kickstand long before Switch. Seriously?!? I love Sega, I don't like when people attribute invention of literally anything to Nintendo, but something like a portable console that connects to a TV (Sega Nomad) or a controller with own screen (Dreamcast) is one thing, and here you make a reason to poke Nintendo out of... what? A stupid piece of plastic! This is why Sega fans are not better than Nintendo fans. (By the way, Soviet clones of Game & Watch did have a kickstand long before Beena.) And the way you talk about the fact that last Dreamcast game came out in 2007 is also horrible, it's like you were trying to cope with failure of Sega.
