I love doing the DTF printing- was a great game changer- - after application on to the shirt - you do the cold pull & then you repress it again - I didn’t see you do that - it helps it to get deeper into the fabric - great tutorial

@@crissycreatesofficial I hear'ya! I lost almost half a pack of the glossy film. Trying all the different settings as well. I am using the Thin paper setting but I think the colors could be a little brighter if I could print with a different setting. However, it is what it is and the 'Thin Paper' setting works.

They have a black powder that you can use to apply on dark shirts. i haven’t tired that one yet bit with the white powder, it should only be used on white or light shirts.

I wasn’t aware that you can press directly to the shirt, all of the videos I’ve seen so far, they used HTV or Sublimation vinyl, but they also pressed to dark shirts so that may be why, thanks for the video!

i have same printer and even though it is not sublimationconverted i had similar issue on some glossy paper, what worked for me without loosing quality of the print itself [changing to light weight paper was lowering quality for me] was setting ink density into -20 up to -30 ;)

Have you had any issues with Ironing afterwards? Seems like some color wants to come off with every iron session (even on warm setting). I don't iron directly on the image. I turn inside out with some paper (inside & on top) to protect other side of shirt but I still notice color on the paper afterwards....I haven't heard anyone mention this sort of issue in tutorials. I only iron when absolutely necessary but sometimes it just has to be done😩💀

Before you add your film to the heat press (curing the powder) close your heat press for 30 sec. To heat up the bottom. You will notice a huge difference in curing.
I also apply powder twice. I apply, melt it, and then REAPPLY powder, melt it, and then apply to my shirt.
But its important to heat up the bottom part of your heat press.
I hope I explained this right and its makes sense.

@@crissycreatesofficialI have an 8550 converted for sublimation. Did you have issues with roller marks? And, please what all settings did you change? Only the lightweight paper setting? I’ve seen videos to check mark thick paper/envelopes and change the drying time and change the density and change that. Please what all did you change for 13x19. Are you able to print almost the whole 13x19? Read not as many issues with the smaller sizes of the dtf film and more issues with 13x19 but you said you like bigger designs so I’m hoping you can help me.
