    Sir in the problem no: 3 the answer u got 1.5 Pc then how it is be increased by 50% ?

      1.5 Pc = Pc + 0.5Pc
      It means Pc increased by 50%

    In 2nd problem the total power for 100% of modulation index of received power is 60w and how come total power equal for 75%of modulation index sir . I didn't understood this one sir

    so in second example when index was reduced to 75% , you kept total power constant and changed carrier power which depends on carrier amplitude and in next you changed total transmitted power with change in index ?? kahna kya chahte ho ????

      Shanu Verma : data is already given, we are just calculating Pc based on given data

      @@EngineeringFunda can you please recheck the given data ?? Data given was former value of index and later value of index . no where mentioned to keep Pt constant . Further how can you vary carrier power which has no dependency on index value but depends on amplitude of carrier . So you are varying amplitude of carrier in that sense ??

      Shanu Verma : in question, it is given that radio output is 50w, loss power is 10w. Now in that case what can be carrier and side band power for two cases , that is what the question. I don't understand what you don't understand

      I had the same doubt.
      Total power of the amplifier modulator is 60W at 100% modulation index. Since the modulation index is reduced to 75% now the power of the amplitude modulator will not be equal to 60W
