    Not all doctor's are good doctors...I personally did intermittent fasting and it worked for me personally. It wasn't just about "losing weight" though. It helped reset my body in a way. Also it's never promoted to fast so long to where you feel worse or even sick. Listen to your body. I would finish my meal by 5-6pm sleep most of my fast away and I got to work by 6am and would end my fast for 12hrs. I've gone 18hrs before and I felt great. I've done 10hrs on days that I was struggling. You can eat things that don't spike your insulin and can drink teas or beverages that had no ingredients that spikes the insulin as well. They have many other methods such as the warrior diet which was based on how hunter's and gather's would eat. It really depends on you yourself. And it's okay if it doesn't work for you. I encourage you find what works for your mind, body, and spirit 🙏✌️

    Intermittent fasting is not primarily meant for weight loss, it is meant for keeping the cellular regeneration cycle on its pace. It prevents cancerous growth when stubborn cells refuse to die otherwise.

    The main way intermittent fasting benefited me was that it lowered the total amount of calories I was taking in in a 24 hour period.

      You are in the right track! Longer the interval, significant decrease in weight.
      But it does not work with WION newsreaders!

      Yeah. I used it to lose a good amount of weight by trying to limit myself to 3 meals in a 12 hour period. I was able to do it and lose a little

      It may play a role but there is studies that shows that this information is incorrect. Eating the same amount of calories in "one seat" promotes better results (weight loss and overall health marks) than eating the same amount of calories divided in 3 or more portions.

    What my doctor said never skip breakfast 🤣😅, and believe me with intermittent fasting i loss over 15kg in about one and half years.
    Now l keep my breakfast lite, and i don't eat before 9 am and after 6pm except on some special occasion .
    WION should do its own research, before airing out foolish News like this .😡
    You eat more y gain more. This is how science work in normal human body.

    She’s wrong, intermittent fasting helps you lose weight or maintain it. Studies have shown that it’s especially beneficial for those with insulin resistance, pre diabetes, and diabetes. Fasting helps restore insulin sensitivity and reduces insulin spikes. Snacking in between meals is especially harmful for people who have insulin problems.
    Not only that but combining intermittent fasting with exercise and keto diet is extremely beneficial and effective way to lose weight.
    Also since you eat 1-2 meals a day you would be consuming less calories than eating throughout the day.

    It's also what's in your food, I was in Japan and eat what I wanted but I lost 14 pounds. American food is just unhealthy, please note I was walking with a 20+ pound backpack for 8-10 hours a day and walking countless miles.

    The idea behind intermitten fasting is that you only eat for certain hours and fast the other hours, thus if u do it right, your will eat less calories... add a few days of workout, it will do wonders ...

    Well for me intermittent fasting helped me lose weight. It helped reset my body generally, I felt better. I go 2 weeks of every month 14 - 16 hours every other day and I've seen a great difference in my weight. Now I do it 2 weeks every 2 months. It works for me. But if you see it's not good for you, you should not do intermittent fasting

    IF is incredible and not just for weight loss. Yes, calories in vs. calories out is what matters the most for weight management but IF has many benefits.

    Over here I just fast once a year it is called Yom Kippur in Hebrew or Day of Atonement in English and it is fasting 24/7 thank you very much and have a great day 🇮🇱🇮🇳

    This information is not Totally true. Know this for a fact. And going to my doctor was not helpful not in this Case. My blood pressure was a bit elevated. Once I, lost some weight my blood pressure went down to normal. My doctor wanted to prescribe meds I, told her to give me a few weeks.
    Lost weight blood pressure normal. FIND OUT what Works for You! The doctors or anyone else has ALL the Answers.

    It has nothing to do with time of the day lol its not eating all day then eating 1 meal when you chose then waiting to do that again next day. You eat less this way.

    This video is so wrong, guys i have been fasting for a month now.. and, i am feeling better than ever! Also losing inches plus gaining strength. I am doing 16:8 right now. And eating everything in my eating-window but with (less sugar and salts).
