#wankam we support you. We respect and study #garylam but we hold you in the highest regard. ❤😉🤛🐉I do a form for my JKD. It’s all 3 forms in one. SUI LIM (LIM) SOY LIM NIM or SUI NIM TAO little idea or song of the morning. CHUM KIU and BUI GEE. I do a #samkwok BUI GEE. We require students to know all 3. For JKD. Now.. we study you. And we see you’re brilliant. ☮️💥💯

Wing Chun does not have the best reputation, but I investigated after watching 2 Sifus fight blindfolded. This lineage from Wong Leung is very self-defense oriented, Wong Leung is legendary for winning many challenge matches across all styles. I took a lesson from Sifu Kwok, one of Wan Kam's senior students and the guy hits like a truck.I wasn't hurt by force, but put off balance completely by the lightest jab at his 20%. Don't sleep on the Wing Chun fighters or you will find yourself on your butt.

It is blind-folded chi sao, not fighting. Chi sao is NOT the same as fighting.
it is Wong Shun Leung, not Wong Leung; and Wan Kam Leung, not Wan Kam Also SiFu Kwok (assume you mean Samual Kwok) is not a student of Wan Kam Leung, totally different lineage

No, not Samuel Kwok, there is another Kwok: William. That line is now called Practical Wing Chun here in New York City. You are right, chi sao is different. My point being that very advanced WC practitioners hit hard and fight effectively. It's possible there is a lot of fake WC out there, but the real thing definitely works.

01:15 the way she said that it seems like she thinks Karate is a style of Kung Fu and it sounds like she is saying Wing Chung

How about say...Gung Fu is Chinese and karate Japanese style? Also it's not swords, those are considered knives or butterfly knife

    Wing chung? It's wing chun....

Nice! Just walk straight in with your chin high and proud in the air saying knock me the hell out! I know it’s only supposed to be used against other wing Chun practitioners, but it really bothers me when they don’t protect their face and chin, and just focus on each other’s hands. And it looks like a pretty cool hobby to keep the brain working, and active, which is always a bonus.

Lol Its all useless in real fight application, but very good for practice and strengthening body and mind though. According to Bruce Lee, Wingchun is very limited in actual fight. Ive been practicing Wing Chun for 27 years now until now, I know all the 3 forms, drills, knives weaponries, and the Wooden Dummy form and applications. BUT I spent MORE time doing Kickboxing and sparring with my students and Id rather use them in actual street defense fighting instead of my Wingchun.

Let look at it from the following perspective, If you are a martial artist, think of the founder or master of your style which ever one, go back to the history and compare the masters or founders just like you have seen in the Donnie Yen Ip Man series and make the comparison..
