- Today I found this video. I thought all traces of this documentary was lost. 15 years ago (2007), I had recently found my way off off the streets and into sobriety. I was doing one of my first outreaches when I saw a few of the guys that I was homeless with being interviewed by a film crew. I went over to make sure that they were not being exploited by someone with less than honorable intentions. They weren't. It was an independent production company doing a documentary on the homeless in Atlantic City and the Social Service Agencies that served them. A great many of the homeless being interviewed here are no longer with us and some are. This documentary is bitter sweet for me. This is the beginning of my journey to the present. The dawn of my service to the homeless.

What an incredible angel..RIP and as an ex homeless person myself ...I say thank you!
Wow. Sister Jean has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen from anyone and anywhere. That woman has probably done more for anyone than she ever realized. She passed away in 2011, and the world lost someone very special but may she rest in peace.
You're absolutely right about Sister Jean. She was a wonderful woman. You would be in awe to see how many people were at her funeral. I know she is resting in peace with our Lord.
The next Grand theft Auto Video game should take place in Atlantic City. It would be an awesome degenerate paradise to satire hahaha I know I would buy it.
At mark 2:30 you can see ' All you can reach buffet '
Yep. It's a free buffet.
Homeless is a choice! I choose to work 5 days a week, 44 years. To own a house. Home ownership is not easy. Property taxes ,utilities, garbage service, repairs, roofs. Fees.
Be quiet!
People lose a job, then can’t pay their share of rent, then get kicked out, & then they are homeless. This happened to 2 people I know. It was not a choice.
Homelessness is not a choice. What a person does when there can be a choice.
@@user-ti3hs4cv4x Try a rewrite, I am not understanding your comment.
Homelessness is NOT a choice. You come across as very judgmental. You and I are one paycheck away from homelessness.
