"I prefer tenkeyless boards myself" a year later and he's building $600 dollar 60% keyboards
yeah and the thing is he still prefers tkl, he said it himself in his latest keyboard recommendation, man just got fat stacks to spend
I picked up the Anne Pro 2 a couple days ago and I love the software that it has. I really recommend it for people transitioning away from TKL keyboards but are afraid to give up arrow keys. While 65% keyboards are an option, the tap feature on the Anne Pro 2 is great.
been 3 yrs since u commented, so I'm jus curious, did it last well?? I've been searching for a durable one for ages
@@Eyeglue22 I was using the Anne Pro 2 for maybe like two years (or a few months after the GMMK Pro released in stores) and it was a great experience for the years I used it! It held up super well too
Although, the keyboard world is so big in comparison to 3 years ago so there's a ton of options available nowadays and I recommend you explore! For example, I used an RK68 as the base build for my girlfriend, replacing the switches out with Gateron Pro Yellows (which are better than the stock switches you could find on most Anne Pro 2's). I'm sure you could use their 60% equivalent and have something that you may potentially enjoy more and be proud to say you customized as well :)
Cheers and good luck!
@@Pyridius Thank you so much, amazing feedback, I'll definitely explore more!! Take care to u too!
@@Eyeglue22 Ive had my anne pro for probably close to two years as well now. I'd say it's still a solid board if you're getting into 60% but like he said there is a lot more boards on the market today than there were when this released.
Gotta say glorious is probably my FAVORITE brand to buy this kind of stuff. I mean what is there not to like about them. All of their stuff is top quality and extremely budget/ cheap and they perform the same or better then the expensive models from other brands
If Anne Pro 2 just improves its RGB effects its can easily be the best keyboard out there. It has the best features out of all these 3
I recently got the Anne pro 2 with blue switches and I’m loving it!!
Ducky One 2 Mini Sound Test: 2:56, Glorious GMMK Compact: 7:40, Anne Pro 2: 9:55

You can get the Anne Pro 2 with Kailh BOX switches too 💚
What are those? Are they better than cherries?
@@user-md3is4dq2d I prefer them but everyone has their preferences RandomFrankP has a great switch test video if you need a break down of the difference 😊
@@TobiasSpoonPrice are they anything like cherry blues?
@@user-md3is4dq2d Most people prefer Kailh Box White switches to Cherry Blues
⃠ cherry blues are not good kailh has way better switches for exemple the jade switches
for the ppl that didnt know if u go into the anne pro 2 software u go to led and press the + u will get 100+ more rgb options i really fell in love with the keyboard after this
You can also download RBG profiles from other people
Remember, kailh hot-swappable sockets can wear our. Soldered switches are more stable. Kailh box switches don't wobble as much as Gateron switches. But you can clip, lube and band-aid your stabilizers on the hot-swappable board without soldering.
I don't really like de-soldering switches so hot-swappable PCBs still win for me. But you're right.
Kailh box switches is not always more stable over gateron. Have you tried Zealios v2? My 67grams are extremely stable! :)
@@Sendrim I found my Kailh Box Jade switches to be more stable than Zealios v2, but that's just me. Both are pretty stiff switches.
@@tappyoka7496 ah! Nice! I personally almost only use SA, so it's really noticable for me. And it's really different from one batch to the other too haha
I respect that you put names and pictures of them all in the first 20 seconds, instant sub!
Customizing the keyboard via the keyboard itself is awesome. It means you can do it from any OS, and you won't rely on some software that only works on stupid windows...
on what are you going to game then on windows
@@AlCapone216 nah but i’m so used to gaming and typing on my ducky that i only use 60% boards for everything so when i’m getting my work done on my mac i use my ducky one 2 mini. So i can deffinelty see why on-board controls would be usefull.

9:04 I had a huge smile there, and had to go watch JayzTwoCents! haha
I mean the annePro 2, is a really good version of a typical 60% keyboard. They also have really good lined up software, kompared what the GMMK and Ducky one 2 mini have.
I was looking for the best 60%
totally go with the gmmk compact. you can swap out the keyswitches which saves you a LOT of money if you don't like your switches. If you're new to mechanical keyboards I'd go with the gateron browns.
@@zaprey2419 agree to an extent, you could get a brilliant Anne Pro 2 for like £40 cheaper...
alarmed link in description
Anne pro or ducky . Gmmk trash
@@zaprey2419 honestly, getting the GMMK would make me want to spend more money on switches haha. I only want one keyboard but bring able to swap it would make me spend a ton on switches
Can definitely recommend Anne Pro 2. If you're not a modder, then right out of the box this has great things to offer. Aside from its outstanding features, it comes with Gateron and Kailh Box switches which I find far better than Cherry MX. Stabilisers are top notch too, and best of all it can be used wireless. Think only minor problem is that the board is plastic instead of aluminium, if that is even an issue for you, plus the RGB isn't too bright which can be a problem if you're in a bright room.
The anne gets me because of the sounds I love it
I just ordered the ducky one 2 mini and man am I excited to use it
Idk why but I like the Anne pro 2 keyboard more the other ones...
Anne pro 2 > most 60%
u need to move ur hands to charge it not recommended for lazy people like me
@@zpinax7275 imagine
Nah matrix elite and ducky are better Bc the stabilizers aren’t great on Anne pro
Anne pro 2 has so many problems with connectivity
One thing about the GMMK that can make it a lot cheaper, get the bare board and then only order as many switches as you need from somewhere like Novelkeys. There's no need to get 120 switches when you only need 61 (no clue why they don't let you choose that during ordering), just order 7 packs of 10 of whatever plate mount switch you want, and you still have enough spares. Then get a cheap set of PBT caps from Amazon (they're really not bad, I have several cheap sets from there, my latest is backlit SA caps for $15). Boom, you have a great board on the cheap.
I saw you in TaehaTypes' stream chat. Excited for collab. ;)
IMO Anne Pro 2 is the king feature/flexibility wise bc its got TWO customizable Fn layers and Magic Fn and tap function, but it's really not of the best quality and has annoying firmware bugs. I ended up switching to Dareu EK861 which doesnt have as many features but also gives me less problems.
IBM "Kishsaver" is the best 60%. Change my mind.
I went ahead and looked it up. Take my like.
It really is.
Yep
I have an IBM Space Saver II, very cool.
@Wet Lemon You can use a Hasu Convertor
Ordered my ANNE PRO 2 today got it in white with Kailh box brown switches
you prefer TKL keyboards can you do an updated best list of them ?
Yes please
Ducky One 2 TKL
I really like the feel of typing on Ducky boards. Not sure if it's the stabilizers or what but it just feels better than other boards I've used.
Stabs dont really affect typing all that much as only like 5 keys use them also you can replace or modify bad stabs so its not really and advantage

Ducky One 2 mini is definitely my favourite, haven’t tried it but I’m going to buy it if I switch to keyboard and mouse when I build me PC
I don't know of any uses for numpads anyway. Apart from San Andreas 😂
Well, when you type numbers. If you have a 60% you do your numpad on a layer, like 789uiojklm,..
That's like a misconception, that smaller keyboards lacks keys/functions just because people can't see their legends on the keys. All you are doing is bringing the keys closer to your fingers, instead of having to move your hands/fingers to the keys. But that also makes it so that you have to use modifiers for basic stuff, which isn't for everyone. But for me, things like Space FN and One Tap Shift revolutionized things. Space+Backspace = Delete. That alone. Makes so much sense.
I have a specific GTA Online layer lol (same thing as San Andreas, flying with the numpad etc).
But apparently not everyone uses numbers. That's ok.
Brooo I had a laptop I was playing the game like cool and everything (I was 8 at the time) it required number pad numbers so I like mini raged cz I was pressing the numbers on the top my laptop didn't have a number pad this was confusion
Also in GTA 5.

Fheed Pexx bro. Are you a virgin?
From these 60% Keyboards i would go for the Ducky one 2 mini because it looks the best and its good
Micah Bell what a weirdly useless comment
Literally knew the keyboards from the thumbnail!
Proud of you brother 💪🏼
I've been looking at a bunch of 60% keyboards and here's what I got from my, "research."
Get the Anne Pro 2 if you want the most value out of your money. The price is about ~80$ for Gateron switches, ~90$ for Kailh box, and ~100$ for Cherry MX on sites like Banggood. I personally got mine for 70 dollars on eBay with Kailh box switches. It also has Bluetooth if you need that.
Get the GMMK if you don't know what switches to get. Since you can swap them out, you can usually spend about 20-30$ on a new pack of switches and it's like having a new keyboard. I would have gotten this if I didn't find the deal on the Anne Pro 2 for 70$. Also, keep in mind that the GMMK is currently sold out and you will have to wait until they restock (shouldn't take long).
Honestly, the only reason to get the Ducky One 2 mini is if you don't want to use software to program your keyboard.
If you wanted a cheaper option, look at the Royal Kludge RK61 which also has Bluetooth and can be found for ~40$. The Geek GK61 can be found for ~50$ on Banggood and comes with Gateron switches but the software is absolute garbage.
Hope this helps for anyone deciding between these boards.
@@Perfect_setup No, neither of them can do Bluetooth.
@@Perfect_setup Yup, if you need the Bluetooth and 60% form factor, go with the Anne Pro 2(70-100$) or Royal Kludge 61 (40$).
