love it. The reason they make decent money isnt because they are amazing farmers or anything... it is that they are amazing at marketing a product and bringing it to a niche market. It isnt too hard to milk some cows. It is very very hard to create a product people will buy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth every month. I have no doubt, if some private equity group came in and bought this company up they could take it to a billion dollars or more.
Seems that the moral of the story is just to listen to what people are wanting to buy, make the necessary adjustments to meet that demand, and scale up as you go.

Outsourcing the soap seems like a waste of money. I've worked in chemical factor that used that same reaction for other chemical products. yep all you need to 4 million in equipment/assets and a massive established customer base and probably expect a tenth or less of the amount advised in actual profit with 10+ employees and you too could be this successfully immediately....

You must work at the dollar store if you believe what you said.
@Doug's Arrowheads And Outdoors you must Work at that dollar store with that negativity and ignorance
I can tell they love the Lord and their service oriented hearts are obvious.
What is the net monthly profit ? Negative $ 20 K ?
Seems that the moral of the story is just to listen to what people are wanting to buy, make the necessary adjustments to meet that demand, and scale up as you go.
Thanks for summing it up so perfectly! 🙌
Not allowed in Canada. Here there is a dairy quota system which is very expensive to buy into.
Move to the US
Canada is a socialist hellhole. Tell you you have covid and then force you to quarantine for two weeks in a crappy hotel for 2,000 per night at your own expense....rise up and crush your masters already
Super informative and encouraging. thanks for sharing!
I've wanted to buy/build my own farm for over a decade now. Im about a year and a half away from making that a reality.
You got this! Let us know how it goes, will you? 💪🏼
What’s your plan? I’ve just recently become interested as well
@@daldo425 I plan on starting small, just chickens and goats to start. It really depends on how much land I can buy in my state (which is incredibly expensive) next year. The end goal is to sell my products to local farmers markets and restaurants in my area (which are also expensive). I want a couple of glass greenhouses because I'm determined to keep my property free of plastics and chemicals. That's my starting plan, it may change with time.
I really enjoy your videos , really great content and done with great quality. I searched all of RUclips and I can confirm you guys r the only ones doing it like this extremely unique and each video sparks new inspiration. Keep them comin.
We're more than happy to hear it. We'll keep them coming!

How much land do you need to start of with.
I like the fact they are religious. God bless you more.
Amen!
pretty cool but i feel like the guy wasn’t trying to share enough information he kept it simple for people to see but not learn.
Such a good video, informational and fun!
Those goats can put a smile on anybodies face, there is just something magical about them ;)

I’m a workaholic and I’ve been doing small farming for years. I need more hours a day.
Their goats look happy.
Who knew, wow amazing, happiness and fulfillment can be achieved with a billygoat!
Great video! Paul Akers is everywhere now. :)
Glad you liked it! Hes' definitely expanding his reach!
Really awesome video! Loved the baby goats!
Glad to hear!
I think their belief in the person in the picture hanging on the wall ( Jesus ), had alot to do with their success . God Bless Them !!
Well I don’t know who that is picture of is on the wall, but the Jesus that was described in the Bible has hair like sheep’s wool and feet the color of burned bronze. Just saying🤔
And the brass candle holder on the credenza is a nod as well.
Amen!
@@musaaliabdulazeem4394 "white as if wool, white like snow; feet like fine bronze"
😂
Very cool story and great visuals along the way!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Do you visit Africa before can you help me support African children with a token +233551972969
Smart to make it into a non edible products, the FDA are not nice to small farmers. It's good that they were in the black when they went into edibles.
Starting a small farm in Maryland. Thanks for the video.
Glad we could help! Good luck!
Great job! Loved it!
Thanks so much Michael!
Outsourcing the soap seems like a waste of money. I've worked in chemical factor that used that same reaction for other chemical products. And my sister (an art teacher) makes soap all the time with no problems. You just have to be careful, use gloves, and add lye slowly so that it doesn't bubble over.
My in laws have a dairy farm in rural Romania - all modern equipment etc.
Convincing my wife to let me buy 10 cows to add to my in laws 60 cow farm so I can work the farm in the morning before and after work.
Wow that's great opportunity right there! Take advantage of it. Best of luck! ☺️
Interesting to know what the profit margin is like
What is the breed of goat that they use? They said it breeds all year. Is Nigerian dwarf efficient at scale for dairy?
i love farming, i wish i could work in some sheep or goat farm
Start your own farm.
@@UpFlip it needs a lot of money , I wish I could
Thank you so much! It was important information!
Glad it was helpful!
Dairy farms are dropping like flies because that stuff is unhealthy for human consumption and involves animal cruelty which people are not cool with anymore. Farm something else
This is Maria Reyes, this is my son Adrians phone see you out there thats what we want to do. Leaving California
Thanks for watching Maria. You want to start a farming business?
Awww the goats are so adorable 😍😍😍
yep all you need to 4 million in equipment/assets and a massive established customer base and probably expect a tenth or less of the amount advised in actual profit with 10+ employees and you too could be this successfully immediately....
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's true that the more you invest, the faster you can get returns, but you can definitely start with a little less. Thanks for watching! ☺️
We have a product to help with dairy farms waste management. How do I get in touch with these farms ??
I have a small herd of Nigerian Dwarfs and their milk makes the best cheese and the milk is delicious as well! I can’t wait to start making soap!
That sounds amazing Terri! Where is your farm located?
