Simple in game setting "mute beeping" or a permanent button to mute it with a warning + code to input to confirm in game (to make it realistic) is a way to make everyone happy.
I'm curious guessing the answers it's just a base value per solar array but in the video he stacks them in real life it'd shadow on to the others resulting in less output. If it's possible I think that would add a level of realism and make me people plan their builds more thoroughly for efficiency.
Imagine If the beeping never stopped. It would just alternate between different beeps and everything would set beeps off. Water hunger sleep cold. Communication. Air. Danger. Just nonstop beeping.
The beeping is caused by the circuit breaker being tripped, so I'm almost positive that, at night, if you turn master power off and reset the circuit breaker, or turn power off before night time, you can avoid the beeping.

Sir your video of this game is OK at best. But as far as the title goes this is not the best game of the year. There is another game that is far superior to this and then offers greater challenges and more fun and it makes you think about what you're doing. The game is called Stationeers and has been out for a very long time and is still currently being developed and constantly being updated. The game requires you to learn some knowledge about engineering, science and programming using a language called MIPS. In the game you can pick whatever planet and moon you want to survive on and increase or decrease your level of difficulty on sad planet or moon. They have even added a brutal start difficulty to challenge those who have been playing this game long enough and are literally masters at it. Plus the game offers a co-op mode so your friends can come in and enjoy it with you as well. You should take some time out and go look up the game and explore its capabilities and I think you'll find it beat this game handover fist on everything and is far more challenging.

That alarm sounds like it came from one of those alarm/radio combo from the 80's and 90's! I had one that sounded just like that.

Mm is a Megameter (=1000km)..its very rarely used but handy for planetary distances

accually there is sound in space, only you won't be able to hear it because the soundwaves can't travel in a vacume.
I don't mind the UI but they need to change that storage system it looks horrendous. Need more QOL and it would be a good game.
100%. Storage UI getting an overhaul in the patch after the next! (Demo v2.0.6) And various additional QOL improvements over the next few weeks :)
