    Cheers Tobias, thanks for the tips, I'll definitely try the speed deceptions and hitting the shuttle up in 30secs. Also it is so true what you say about FOCUS, one can train muscle memory by just looking at video and then imagining oneself doing the movement, that when next you execute the movement on court, it actually feels familiar.

    I usually play doubles in courts so when I get a chance to play singles, I'm out of breathe just after 15 points. Is there any way I can increase stamina other than stepping practice.

    • @tobiaswadenka8435
      @tobiaswadenka8435  4 года назад +7

      A lot of things about this questions because stamina and fitness in badminton is very complex. The most obvious things in my eyes is the weight you carry around. The heavier you are, no matter if it is muscle mass or fat, the more energy you need and the harder it gets to play long rallys and matches. Besides that the efficiency of your footwork also plays an important role. For example a good rhythm and good anticipation skills will save a lot of energy because you need to do less extra and correction steps. I talk a lot about it in my different footwork tutorials. And last but not least of course there is endurance itself but also here you have many different dimensions like aerobic and anaerobic capacity as well as power... you see it is very complex but maybe a cool topic for a new video 🤔

    Have a technical question. How much should we pivot around our wrist to do the tap, or the power comes mostly from the squeeze (finger power)? Pivoting require more back swing but stronger, whereas I suspect finger power and little back swing is sharp but shuttle won't go far.

    • @mariyamajaz
      @mariyamajaz 4 года назад

      @@tobiaswadenka8435 indeed, it works. When u push the shuttle, it bounces back, so u r playing with yourself, it helps with aiming and u can practise different types of grips and strategies, so when u go back to the court, u have new and better ways of playing and are well practised. Therfore, you have more chances of winning. This helped me A LOT, my dad told me about this, so in quarentine, we hanged a shuttle and i started playing. Do mention this in one of your videos. It will benefit many..
