As promised in the video, here is my take on the 30 second challenge: ruclips.net/video/tx9Or4ZMG4k/видео.html I counted 66-67 =) How many hits can you make?
I'm currently fourteen years old and I've tried this workout, and thank you so much my power has improved rapidly. Though I can only do 4 rounds of hitting the shuttle on the wall.
Fantastic tips! And I never thought of putting a covering over a wall so I can hit against it- 'squashminton'! It feels great to actually be able to hit a shuttle again after such a long time- THANK YOU!!!
That's what a need in these crazy days, but I aslo need a person to throw shuttles for me! no, so I’d like try the 3 4 5. Thanks, wish you stay healthy and the gorl who throw the shuttles.
You truly are providing great stuff sir huge respect for your videos and work here you inspire alot thank u so much for these great tutorial videos for everyone related to badminton sir🙏🙏
Thank you for the tips! I already got too bored so I sometimes watch games on TV and try to predict and move to the right position(at least right direction), pretending I'm playing against them, thinking that may improve my prediction and footwork.
Cheers Tobias, thanks for the tips, I'll definitely try the speed deceptions and hitting the shuttle up in 30secs. Also it is so true what you say about FOCUS, one can train muscle memory by just looking at video and then imagining oneself doing the movement, that when next you execute the movement on court, it actually feels familiar.
I usually play doubles in courts so when I get a chance to play singles, I'm out of breathe just after 15 points. Is there any way I can increase stamina other than stepping practice.
A lot of things about this questions because stamina and fitness in badminton is very complex. The most obvious things in my eyes is the weight you carry around. The heavier you are, no matter if it is muscle mass or fat, the more energy you need and the harder it gets to play long rallys and matches. Besides that the efficiency of your footwork also plays an important role. For example a good rhythm and good anticipation skills will save a lot of energy because you need to do less extra and correction steps. I talk a lot about it in my different footwork tutorials. And last but not least of course there is endurance itself but also here you have many different dimensions like aerobic and anaerobic capacity as well as power... you see it is very complex but maybe a cool topic for a new video 🤔
Hii, I used to play badminton until 2015. For the past 8 years I was out of touch. Coming december there is a friendly doubles match. Can I use your tricks to train myself before practicing playing with others
Have a technical question. How much should we pivot around our wrist to do the tap, or the power comes mostly from the squeeze (finger power)? Pivoting require more back swing but stronger, whereas I suspect finger power and little back swing is sharp but shuttle won't go far.
@@tobiaswadenka8435 indeed, it works. When u push the shuttle, it bounces back, so u r playing with yourself, it helps with aiming and u can practise different types of grips and strategies, so when u go back to the court, u have new and better ways of playing and are well practised. Therfore, you have more chances of winning. This helped me A LOT, my dad told me about this, so in quarentine, we hanged a shuttle and i started playing. Do mention this in one of your videos. It will benefit many..
Pls advise what excercises can be done to keep racket ahead and up since it tends to go down while playing. Secondly getting difficulty to pick up smash on forehand from forehand side..pls advise how to correct these while at home.
For the first question I would suggest exercise nr. 1 in the video. Work on a short movement and keep the rackethead up. For the second one I am not quite sure what you mean or how to help
Dear tobis many thanks for your reply and guidance My second question is whenever I receive smash on my right hand side being a right hander then I'm not able to lift or counter or place shuttle from my right hand side where else if received on back hand side then no such problem..pls advice a drill to make right hand stronger for lifting a smash or counter or placement.
Try to hold it by the feathers, that gives you more control. You are not allowed to hit the feathers during serve so it should point at least a little towards the racket

when serving, should I hold the shuttle by a feather or by the cork ? Should I point the shuttle toward the racquet ?
Try to hold it by the feathers, that gives you more control. You are not allowed to hit the feathers during serve so it should point at least a little towards the racket
Bro super 👌
Thanks
Very nice sir
Thank you!
Sadly for me, i have no racket. I was supposed to get one I ordered but delivery got delayed due to this virus.
