Nicholas Barranco yo same af 🔥 like if they make a monster jam game with forza graphics and how monster trucks actually move the game would be really badass
Urban Assault was the peak. No game will ever be able to match the sheer terror of being on the last lap of an Eliminator race, completely out of boost with no obstacles to hit, and hearing the engine of the one truck left on the track slowly get louder behind you. Edit: typo
Path of Destruction being the second of the series that I played when it first released holds a special place in my heart, and while I agree that it represents a distant second (assuming that you consider MJ 2007 and Urban Assault one entry), it also marks the point at which the games start to boast admittedly impressive vehicle renders at the cost of increasingly garbage physics simulation And of the two I personally feel that how a game like this plays is more important than how it looks the way Path of Destruction, Battlegrounds, and Crush It! have such stiff and awkward physics interactions really contrasts with the freeform chaos you can get out of Urban Assault's combination of high speeds and exaggerated collision physics However, while I have yet to play either for myself, both Steel Titans and its sequel do appear to be heading back in the right direction
ILLUSION STREAMS Tom actually picked Maximum Destruction from a list of trucks after Goldberg left Monster jam I belive it was the reason Tom ran team Meents for a year in preparation while they made a design for it the prototype before the futuristic suv was actually a regular pickup truck, there is a dvd called the true life of Tom Meents where he explained and showed pictures of it.
The physics of the monster trucks got worse as the games went on, monster jam crush it’s and path of destructions physics are so terrible, the trucks always tend to roll back onto all 4s and you can basically like climb walls, I personally like urban assault and maximum destruction the best, mostly for the time period it was in, and the game was really fun
I had every one except the 4x4, and I had the N64 one too. I think Urban Assault, Path of Destruction, and Maximum Destruction were the best ones. Path of Destruction had the best physics in my opinion, but they let you control the truck however you want in the air cause it was probably easier than making the air physics realistic. I wish they would just make a really realistic Monster Jam game with good graphics and realistic track designs. I want as much time being put into the physics as a Forza or Gran Turismo game. Edit: I forget Path of Destruction wasn't the last Monster Jam game. I think it's the last good one, and I didn't get the ones after it.
The developers of Crush It and Battlegrounds are the same developers who are now working on Super Street: The Game. As soon as I found that out, now my expectations for Super Street are basically zero. They are going to absolutely fail with the vehicle physics big-time according to their track record.
AngryCreepyPasta _2018 it's definitely one of the better ones. I'm actually first in the world to get the plat on PS3 for it. I'd put monster 4x4 ahead of it, that's about it
Those of you that grew up with Maximum Destruction will know how intimidating some of the Trucks got on tougher difficulties. The AI was way too smart too.
Wow. Maximum Destruction, Masters of Metal and Wii bring back good memories. I’m 21 and play forza. It’s crazy how much time I’ve spent in first place ;)
Nice trip down memory lane with this video. Thanks for the share TLITD31! I still actually play Monster 4x4: Masters of Metal to this day too, Gamecube edition. I did give the other games a try over the years & don't get me wrong, they each were cool in their own unique way, but I could never really hook on to any of them as "the go to" Monster Jam console game in my opinion. Driving/handling physics just weren't realistic enough as I really believe they could be. Also, the games never really seemed to focus on the true real experience of racing & freestyle competition (authentic stadium racing & freestyle courses: The same courses the pros compete on), like I'm sure a real monster truck driver goes through & experiences during a live event. I think it would be wicked cool if one day, a monster truck console game was produced with not only more realistic physics (similar to ROR or Beamng), but a racing & freestyle competition experience similar to Gran Tarismo: Realistic trucks driving on realistic courses inspired by authentic Monster Jam tracks that have been built from past events &/or World Finals in the very stadiums they were at. Top that off maybe with a killer Story or Career mode where you yourself can advance up the ranks of the Monster Jam circuit like the pros do via the Triple Threat & FS1 Stadium Series (sorta like advancing from 125cc to 250cc competition in any MX or ATV game). Build/customize your own truck & driver at Digger's Dungeon, manage your own crew/repairs to your truck in between shows in a shop, work your way up by competing in racing, 2-wheel comps, & of course freestyle at each event you participate in to qualify for the World Finals & then run for a World Championship. And of course, gotta have those fun-loving mini games like monster truck skee ball (Urban Assault), weapon battles (Maximum Destruction), etc. Yes, I've thought this out before & I haven't lost faith that one day, this could happen. You never know man!
Masters of Metal was my childhood, MJ 2007 was far from perfect, but was a ton of fun, I never played Urban Assault, and Path of Destruction was pure perfection. Everything after POD is complete bullshit
I own every Monster Jam game, and Urban Assault is defidently my favorite and most played out of the bunch. I do agree that Crush It and Battlegrounds are trash, very uncreative and grindy. I really only bought them to have every Monster Jam game. Steel Titans did have a lot of improvements, but for some reason the ramps are really oversized and sometimes the physics can be weird.

they should make a monster jam game with forza 7 graphics and actually make the monster truck move the way it does in real life. there shouldn't be no roll back over thing. it's either save it or go over and thats it. idk why they can't make a really good monster jam game..... the company has alot of fuckin money, i cant see why they don't can't go to a famous game developer company and pay alot of money for a good monster jam game😒 hopefully next year. thats a high hope lmfao cuz they get more unrealistic over the years lol. hopefully someone works for monster jam and reads this comment........ please tell em to get their finger out their asses will you?! lol their putting monster jam to shame with the games they release.
I wish they would actually try! and make a true physics monster truck game! Beam.ng killed it with their physics I'll never go back to a monster jam game!
Definitely my top 3 would be 1) MJ 2007, 2) Path of Destruction, & 3) Urban Assault. The problem with the other games was that it didn’t feel realistic. I wanted to feel the real racing and freestyle I saw on tv. Also for that style of them taking the trucks out onto the streets. These games did it the best for me
Bro Maximum Destruction, Urban Assault, and Path Of Destruction are possibly my top 3 favorite Monster Jam games. I need remasters of all of them and I need them NOW.
Wow path of destruction came out in 2010. I still remember getting it for Christmas and I spent countless hours playing it. Even the one from 2003 was amazing. Spent a lot of my childhood playing that on the ps2
Is it just me or do other people also want a monster jam game with not only realistic gameplay and everything, but also just like a full Career and none of the stuff like driving through highways and stuff, I’d like to see just stadium and arena shows really
It’s so cool looking back and seeing maximum destruction of the game I played when I was five so I’m like 2013 and play the game and it’s so fun on my PS3 it really was a fun game
I can very faintly remember Maximum Destruction when I played it as a kid. I remember renting it from Blockbuster back when I was probably 5 years old.
For those who don't know, there are actually 2 Monster Jam games on mobile, Monster Jam Java Game from 2010-2011 (you'll get some nostalgia when you look it up on google.) And Monster Jam As Big As It Gets. (Wich for some reason got removed from Play Store, and there is no APK from this game that acctually works.

I wish they would make these monster jam games more realistic
Nicholas Barranco yo same af 🔥 like if they make a monster jam game with forza graphics and how monster trucks actually move the game would be really badass
How about you guys just go download rigs of rods and use the trucks of the sim monsters website for your needs? And no, forza physics suck
Aaron LeBlanc your on crack I wish all vehicle games had Physics like forza
imma1star Brandon did say he wanted them to have forza physics so I think you're blind
Aaron LeBlanc graphics of Forza dipshit
Urban Assault was the peak.
No game will ever be able to match the sheer terror of being on the last lap of an Eliminator race, completely out of boost with no obstacles to hit, and hearing the engine of the one truck left on the track slowly get louder behind you.
Edit: typo
I remember playing urban assault on my psp grown up, I miss that
what about path of destruction?
I mean it's completely different but it's at least a second
Path of Destruction being the second of the series that I played when it first released holds a special place in my heart, and while I agree that it represents a distant second (assuming that you consider MJ 2007 and Urban Assault one entry), it also marks the point at which the games start to boast admittedly impressive vehicle renders at the cost of increasingly garbage physics simulation
And of the two I personally feel that how a game like this plays is more important than how it looks

It’s weird. They named the first game maximum destruction before Tom Meents made the maximum destruction truck

Urban Assult is the best of all the monster jam games.

Worst game ever
The physics of the monster trucks got worse as the games went on, monster jam crush it’s and path of destructions physics are so terrible, the trucks always tend to roll back onto all 4s and you can basically like climb walls, I personally like urban assault and maximum destruction the best, mostly for the time period it was in, and the game was really fun
In my opinion path of destruction is the best
The monster jam game was also good. I had it but then my XBOX fell and it broke the disc
Spectrabomb 467 in POD (Path Of Destruction) you only climb the wall during a wheelie. How do I know? Coz I have it and it works
Diggerfan 549 it's not on ps3

Monster Jam 2007 was the best game I've ever played in my life.

Path of destruction is my favorite

I love how Urban Assault has the little beat going on every time you finish a race. Makes me wish they had those in modern Forza Games
Monster Jam 2007 and Monster Jam urban assault were literally my childhood.
Path of destruction is best game in my opinion
I loved Urban Assault, grew up with that game.
Man the best ones are older jist like mx vs atv games

CaptainPaperHat ooh did you see that?
Pfffff, Urban Assault was released on 2008, I didn’t expected that I had such an emotion of remembering this game! I played it since I was 6.
4x4 Master Of Metal has the best physics out of all of these and it's the second oldest... WOW
Seriously though 🤔

Wow. Watching the Masters of Metal clips really takes me back.

Me too. That game was SOOOO GOOOD! I sucked at it though... but I didn't care back then. Anyhow, all the older ones were the best. These days, I find the idea of monster truck warfare genius for a video game. So crazy, yet so effective.
Fortunately I still have it and i recently brought it back to life by resurfacing the disc from all the scratches it had.
Path of destruction was the best installment of the series
Now I see why they haven’t made a new one
The most recent one was about as fluid as a rock
@Dxrk Juice and that's exactly what they did
Monster jam 2007 brings back memories
Path of destruction best one hands down
Maximum destruction oh my word 😭 I remember that game. 2007, urban assault, and path of destruction all have special places in my heart as well.

I remember playing 3 of these games when I was a child. GOOD MEMORIES
