i know we keep saying it, but i still can't get over how good this man sounds (let alone the band). Seeing them live last year (for the first time) was a major bucket list tick off and felt like i was watching them in their prime.
Fantastic track by track again Leigh, I love this album always wait for your track by track reactions on your favourite artists now before listening to the albums as you give a more in depth look at the record and I get to hear and know things I might not pick up with a casual first listen. Stryper usually ends their albums with a fast paced banger but this is a medium paced song which is quite good. It works where there is nothing wrong with using an ending song that is not quite as fast to conclude the album. Your kitten is really cute. I have 3 cats: Mimsy, Luna and Tigger. When you get into a song and your cat walks by you lose focus goes from the song to the cat. Or you try your best to focus on the music. I'm the same way.
Since 2013, I have been one of Stryper's biggest advocates as the best comeback band of the 80s. Every album has had at least two unmistakable bangers that were non-stop on repeat. It just isn't here with this album. Not saying this is a bad album. But IMO, it is by far their weakest album since 2013. I do like Trinity and Unforgivable, but there are 5 tracks off The Final Battle that are better. Song rankings so far: 1. Trinity 2. Unforgivable 3. Divided By Design 4. End Of Days 5. Imperfect World 6. Rhyme of Time
To me this album is their best one after 5 listens. Every song is top notch. All other albums always had some skippers. This one not yet. Really well done!

It's growing on me. It might beat out God Damn Evil and Even the devil believes. I cant go top 4 though
