@@abubaytnighan6480 It’s more complicated than that. Yanukovch was the Russian leaning candidate that lost in the Orange Revolution. Yushenko was the pro Western pro European candidate who won.
It’s very likely Putin started to plant the seeds of controlling Ukraine after this election cause his candidate did not win.
You are correct and furthermore this allowed Paul Manafort to rebrand Yanukovych's political party of regions in order to win the 2010 Ukrainian election against Tymoshenko. Basically it comes down to the orange Revolution and Paul manafort to how the whole War started and the Republican Opposition of Arming Ukraine to fight Russia.
@@EpicThe112 Yep. Also that Yanukovch guy made some pro Russian deals in 2013-2014 which kicked started the Euromaidan and he was forced out.
