@endamcnabola not just right, but done with effort. At least he understood the situation and let Turtles go back to their time unlike Chris who selfishly wanted Sonic to stay with him leaving all his friends
@@ashesGeek maybe Chris needed a visit from some other show on the network to help him understand...especially since his show recycled their voice cast for this one Italian cartoon...and Amy happens to be quite good at laying down a soundtrack, just don't be mean to her or she changes from Musa to Icy really quick.
No, Cody wasn't Gary Stu at all. He's fun, smart, agile yet clumsy little guy. There's a perfect inner struggle in him being half April and half Casey. And just like his Gramps he isn't so bright when it comes to romance, Starlee should've just taken giant sign so the genius boy might understand. If we compare to characters like Chris Thorndyke from Sonic who's actually mostly a Gary Stu Cody is pretty flawed character: he has to earn everything himself, he lost his parents, he takes full responsibility of keeping an eye of Turtles more so they do for him, he doesn't have any friends other than Serling and despite many advantages he can't use the latest technologies because of Darius Dunn restrictions and full control over company. So, again, no, Cody is nothing like Zach from 87 show and I hope the character will return sooner or later along with Serling and Starlee
I never hated him. Cody was cool as he did help the turtles adjust to the new environment they found themselves in. I always felt he was lonely. I loved Fast Forward as a kid. May need to revisit it
If they ever bring back the 2003 series, whether it be for comic books or animation, I think they're just going to ignore Fast Forward ever existed and only treat the first five seasons as canon. Really sucks knowing that there actually were a lot of good characters from that season that I think needed more episodes to be fully fleshed out more. Especially for Starlee. Would've been really cool to see a hypothetical episode where the Turtles and Cody visit Starlee's planet of Omatran and crazy stuff insues. At least we would've seen more character development for Starlee and her family as well as see what the rest of her race is like.
They could have just make Teenagers Based off of Themselves. When They were Young Back then or watch some Teen Shows,So They can Learn about Teenagers.
cody was cleary one of those caracthers that producers think that kids will identify with him just because he was a kid living great adventures. I mean, cody had flaws, but it was almost superficial, and he never truly had any real challenge .It´s all the chris from sonic x all over again.
@@atavious2491 that really wouldn't work. If anything Cody would be better off in other common 2000's trend cartoons. @Superlad9494 I Feel like Cody would Fit in Teen Titans cuz Nick and CN have Work with Each other before but They went Back to their Rivalry for some Reason..
You know I never did get what Darius Dunn’s motivation is here than I do in the IDW comics at least he was flesh out more than the show did because why go so far to kill the turtles just because they hang out with his nephew because it was Cody’s fault for being there and why is his last name Dunn why is it not Jones or O’Neil?
He's clearly an Uncle through marriage. Cody's mother must've been a Dunn before becoming an O'Neil. Plus Darius always embodied the Obadiah Stane mentality, where his motivation is simply money and being the head honcho on top in the company.
I think that part always bothered me, but I have an idea of how I would recon it, so Darius travels to the past kidnaps Cody as a baby who is Casey and April's son makes up some story about Cody's parents upon taking Cody to the future, and claims to be his uncle just so he can get access to O'Neil tech and start selling weapons, along with somehow already knowing about Cody's creation of the Time Window. I think that retcon works for me in my head.
I clearly remember that as a child when I saw the first episode of Fast Forward I immediately thought and stopped watching TMNT. I really didn't like the directorial change. You caught up on the last two seasons recently. And FF wasn't such a throwaway. Ditto for Cody. A really well written character. Just a shame they didn't give a conclusion for the evil uncle and the Dark Turtles. Nothing is enough, even just Cody who at the beginning of the seventh season said "luckily we stopped my uncle and your evil clones. Now I'm in prison".
They use Gary/Marty Stu in everything for guys when you get the "practically perfect"...and it is oddly treated as a compliment for the guys, but an insult for the girls. For example in Winx Club people praise Nabu for being a canon Stu, but loathe main character Bloom for seemingly being a Sue (even though she does have flaws, it's just Rainbow's writers convienently forgot about them after SOTLK)...and then you have Scrappy-Doo from Scooby-Doo who has been on both ends of the Scrappy arguement...and he's the earliest known "Stu"...praised at first for refreshing the then stale show in 1979, but then loathed for replacing Fred, Velma and Daphne due to accidentally upstaging them (when in- universe he was just learning from them, Shaggy and Uncle Scooby) by 1980 because of writer bias towards the puppy, until a smart writer decided to bring Daphne back in 1983 with her modern personality.
Thanks for watching!

The writers of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles didn't know how to write teenagers? That should have been a huge problem for the whole show.
Human teenagers.
