How to make FANTASY ANIMAL from PINECONES | Woodland Drake Dragon DIY

This fantasy animal I call Woodland Drake. It is inspired by the 2024 Chinese zodiac calendar - Green wooden Dragon. I didn't made wings for it so I call it drake - a wingless dragon. It is not green but it is made from pinecones which I have plenty in the woods near my home. If it was real it would perfectly blend-in in the forest.

What do I do if I don’t have hot glue, that clay like thing, or wires?

It is a fantasy animal, so you don't have to make it exactly like mine. The tail can look different. Instead of modeling clay, you can try tin foil as you self-commented earlier. Just like I said, put a layer of tissue paper on top... for the glue part, I think you can use school glue. It should work just fine, but it will take much longer for the pinecone needle to stick to the cardboard.

Yes, they are real pinecones. I haven't seen or used fake one, so I can't say if it would work 🤔
