While isopropyl (ISP) alcohol can loosen the adhesive under the battery, on some phones it could seep between the rear screen layers which can discolor or ruin it (I've seen it happen to some people). While most ISP will evaporate, it may contain a small amount of water which is really not good for electronics. A better solution is to simply heat up the front of the screen to about 90C on a digital heat plate which won't affect it at all, it will loosen the glue under the battery enough to be able to remove it easily with a narrow metal spackle tool. This method works even on the hardest to remove batteries, on iPhones you'd heat up the back of the phone instead. ;)
Yup, it can happen. Best to use little amounts if using it.
Just the information I needed. Somehow cracked the glass covering my main camera. Need to find replacements and a good how to.
Please tear down Moto Razr 40 and moto razr 40 ultra
I might do the 40, but ultra has already been done by others. I will see. :)

✌️👍
These phones are decent for the price
yup 👍
The Walmart Ladies told me I HAD to have them activate my phone, that I could not use my old SIM card. 😅
Took out the included SIM card Put in the one from my moto e6. Bob's your uncle. Gee... I did not have to pay Verizon $1000 for a phone that dies in the first three months.
Are any of the components interchangable with the moto g pure?
Well built phone. I like the coolings.

Hola 👋 Amigo Excelente Video de hoy Martes de Celulares Review Motorola en Reparación 😁🙏❤️📱
Hi, thank you :)
@@PBKreviews Hola 👋 Amigo Feliz Martes ❤️
How do you just take the cover/lense off to clean behind it, you mention it can be done without disassembly, but it would be good to see it done, and how do you replace the adhesive?
It would be best to take the back housing off for that since removing the camera lens off and re applying adhesive will be more work and complex. If its broken and you're replacing it, its another story but since this back cover doesn't have glue or adhesive holding it down, its just clipped on aside from the fingerprint sensor which has a little bit of adhesive holding it to the back housing. So just heat the fingerprint area a bit with a hair dryer, then remove the sim try, use a pry tool to get it in between the back housing and the frame of the screen right by the sim tray where the plastic is thinnest so you can easily get it in, then run it along the sides and release the catches. When the back is lifted from the frame, push in on the fingerprint scanner to pry it off the back and then fully remove the back housing, clean what you need to and place it back on snap it in place and you're done. But for the lens removal same, just apply heat, use a razor blade or x-acto knife and pry it from one corner of the camera lens glass to peel it off gently. Applying new adhesive you will need to probably order replacement adhesive tape or camera lens glass which comes with the adhesive pre installed. You can find parts for it at mobilesentrix.com
Nice
👍
Do you know where it keep the extra storage beside the sd card because I'm trying to remove the pattern lock after factory reset
Its on the ROM or storage chip which is soldered to the main board under one of the covered shields and is not user removable or replaceable.
Where is the SIEM number on the battery
Do you have tips on if my moto g plays charging port wont work unlessni wiggle the cable
You would probably need to replace the sub board/charging port board. Here is a link for the part: amzn.to/4ach9yk
Why not upload moto g play 2023 unboxing?

@@PBKreviews Why not unboxing the phone lol 😂
Excellent video. Unfortunately my phone went all black - but it charges. First step to a fix? I banged it against the table.
Thanks. Might be frozen, try holding vol down and power together for 20 seconds see if anything happens. If not might be a bad display.
Thanks so much for replying
