Great video! I did the same shock upgrade to mine and thought the springs were too stiff as well. I corrected this by doing several mods to the truck. 370 motor with reduction gears, metal driveshafts, metal axles, hobby wing 1080 esc, flysky transmitter/receiver, 5200mah 2s 100c lipo (short fat lipo), metal window guards, weights added to areas of the under carriage. All this added weight make springs perfect. One of my favorite crawlers.
Personally I did this coilover mod too, but instead of making it 10 times heavier, I just put on the original spring with a little 3d printer spacers just for matching the length, then was still bouncy soo I put some 150cps oil in the shocks, that's what o found really perfect Than I bought the mn78 and was way more funnier stock 🤣 but planning to upgrade that as well
Fwiw I was looking at buying new shocks to stiffen the ride up. In the end I just placed some larger nylock nuts into the bottom of the shock housing and the springs just sat down into them perfectly. Extra added bonus is they add good weight to the front and rear directly over the wheels. 👍 works a treat.

I swapped the springs over and put the original springs on them which made them softer, but in the end I swapped the shocks over for the RBR/C shocks and placed the bottom of rings in them with no oil and done some adjusting on the springs for more damping and they run nicely. Good video but the new suspension is too stiff. The stock suspension works just fine. The truck rolls over a lot not because of bad suspension but because it is top heavy. To correct that, just add weight to the wheels by winding 2 layers of solder around each rim (under the rubber tires). This will make the truck a lot more stable. ✌️😉
I just bought a mn45 and I ordered the same shocks as u last week and its arriving today and if its too stiff will put oil on it to make it softer and also it doesn't get much messy for putting in the oil u can try it out too😁

@Th0maz200112 channel i ended up finding better oil shocks for the mn99s. Tons of flex now.
You need the soft springs on those oil shocks for better flex some wheel weigths well help allot
