New Version of the Video just posted! This time I found shocks that work. The trailing arms, not so much. But great Shocks! ruclips.net/video/JptaVQK_mjA/видео.html
I just got my mn82, first thing i got were some cheap oil trx4m shocks. Fit fairly well, and are the same 53mm as the stock shocks. I removed the rear shocks and swapped the rear diff to under the leaf springs. Huge flex now in comparison.
@@modelbaumok9210 I plan on creating a step-by-step guide to show anyone how to upgrade their crawler. I have the shocks I want to use; I just need to finish the video. The shocks I am trying are from Injora, and hopefully, they will fit without too much fuss.
The pcv board sockets are very sensitive after i bought the newest MN82 one of the pin got pulled off after unplugging🤦 so far i fixed it, btw what size the shocks is?
Did you get round to installing the newly ordered shocks? Was looking at a 99s but now looking at the 82 as better out the box and cheaper but with new tyres. Then shocks like yours.
I was able to get the INJORA 53mm Rear Shocks (amzn.to/3MaUTuw) and NJORA 59 mm Shocks (amzn.to/4fNvC78) to work. For the best action, I needed to use the metal front shock mounts and put the shocks in the hole towards the truck's rear. I have that video almost ready; I just need to capture a video of how it turned out.
@@BillsWorkbench I’m undecided on what to get…MN99s, 89, 82, 78, 168 etc. are all the older models just different body? Is only 99s they’ve changed chassis etc? I want one good out the box and just upgrade tyres and metal driveshafts for now.any help appreciated.
@@rhallmedia8473 if you want something good out of the box get a TRX-4M or SCX-24. On your list the 82 is the best. I don’t have experience with the 168.
I used this, I could not find a kit so I needed to purchase two 4 packs. INJORA 53mm Rear Shocks: amzn.to/3MaUTuw INJORA 59MM Front Shocks: amzn.to/4fNvC78
With the Injora shocks, I use 20wt oil. In the shocks in the video, they don't hold oil. They are an aluminum version of the poor shocks that come from the factory. Get the Injorna ones. I have a suspension conversion coming to the channel soon.
These are the shocks I ended up using in the next video. These actually work: INJORA 53mm Rear Shocks: amzn.to/3MaUTuw INJORA 59MM Shocks: amzn.to/4fNvC78
This is a guess, but LED lights. I looked at the receiver in my MN99S, and it looked to be the same connection to the main chip. I would need to do some testing with the meter to be sure. Take this as advice from the internet, and it may be incorrect.
@@BillsWorkbenchon aliexpres can you buy ready to use rc car led light, can you take a look which would fit either the rear or as a fog light for the front?

Mine will be here for the weekend I will see how they fit and report back.
Can you show modyfication?

Awesome tutorial. I haven't even received mine yet. I'm already looking for upgrades. 😂
Thank You! I have more videos on the MN82 coming. Up next is a shock upgrade that works! Stay tuned
I ordered new shocks that should work out better. Subscribe and watch!

Yes the PCB boards are quite fragile. I used these shocks
INJORA 53mm Rear Shocks: amzn.to/3MaUTuw
INJORA 59MM Shocks: amzn.to/4fNvC78

Hi can you out the link of all
These are the shocks I ended up using in the next video. These actually work:
INJORA 53mm Rear Shocks: amzn.to/3MaUTuw
INJORA 59MM Shocks: amzn.to/4fNvC78
Are those shocks meant for mn78 and mn82? I can't find reviews of those oil shocks and the one your using is similar can you give me link?
I have not found the perfect shots yet. But I do have the measurements, they are at the end of the video. If you find some please let us know.
What weight oil would you recommend to fill with?
@@redewenur1984 I use 20wt oil.

On the receiver module there is 6 pin plug is empty do you know whats that for ?

I checked the 6 pin connector and they are indeed lights, but they all are on at 2.7 volts. No change with turn, reverse, break etc.

Too much thought..just order shocks..
I tend to overthink and over share. I did get some new Injorna shocks. Just need to get them installed, and the video edited. Stay tuned.
