It was ashamed that Megan did not run across a man who really could love her and accept her condition.
The first story is absolutely heartbreaking, particularly after hearing the mother talk about how difficult Megan's childhood has been. Terrible that they never caught or identified the sick monster who killed her.

I know poor lady.
I'm surprised, with the DNA technology they have today, they can get something from.... Well, inside her, esp where they think she was probably intimate with him. I was hoping there was an update on this 😳
Em22- maybe she was burned too badly? Or back then they didn't take specimens?
@@carolv8450 Exactly, the fire most probably eradicated all trace of DNA. It might have been why he decided to burn the body in the first place. If so, then we're dealing with a guy who knew what he was doing, which make him even more dangerous. I really hope they'll catch him one day.

Captured. Following his disappearance, Stryder (a.k.a. Chafe) was spotted in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Canada. He was finally captured in Bozeman, Montana on January 15, 2014. Sooo they end up in a pond but somehow a hat is placed in a field a week afterwards and no foul play????
i imagine that the explanation is more prosaic. their search parties simply missed the hat, and the cops were wrong about it not having been out in the rain (it got wet and dried out in the sun, how would you be able to tell that??).
Yeah none of that adds up. There was foul play possibly. But then again, these crimes are very complex. Trying to pin point each event like a timeline that led up to their deaths is fustrating. Only the victims & God knows the real truth.

How can you be released if you have 99 years owing?
We all know why. 😒. I'll let you figure it out.
Steven Bennett no we don't all know, because I asked the same question.
Haven't gotten to that part of the video yet so I don't have the details on the jail sentence you're referring to, but I will say that in the USA in most states right off the bat you only serve 50% - 60% or less of whatever number of years you're sentenced for. This is mainly due to overcrowding in prisons these days, and good behavior while serving time can drop your sentence even further. If the judge didn't specify "without the possibility of parole" during sentencing, then at some point an inmate will have the opportunity to go in front of a parole board who might rule that they're now ok to be released. Basically, if you're sentenced to 99 years period with no other stipulations, then I wouldn't be surprised if they served around 40ish years, or even less, and then get paroled if they didn't cause problems in prison.
@@albakreuk5830 Steven Bennett is an idiot.
beispielsweise weise I've seen people who are NOT white get off scot free also, then when evidence is found that would convict them, can't because of double jeopardy law. There goes YOUR white privilege theory out the window, your welcome.

Right? Pathetic
Solved. Two years after Bill and Traci vanished, on July 31, 2002, a farmer noticed the outline of a car in a run-off pond near the road they were travelling on. A drought had lowered its water level. Authorities raised the car, which was determined to be Bill's jeep. His and Traci's bodies were found inside.
Authorities believe Bill and Traci mistakenly turned off a narrow private road and while turning around they may have rolled into the pond where they remained unnoticed for two years. Neither of them were wearing their seat belts, and damage to the front of the jeep was consistent with a low-speed impact with water. Their deaths were ruled as an accident.
Sadly, Traci's brother, Billy, was murdered in 2007. Their father, William, passed away in 2010.
I have some issues with the accidental death. They werent trapped in the jeep. They should have easily been able to escape a low impact crash in the pond. And an area that was searched several times, now a week later Bill's hat mysteriously appears?
The eighties people were calmer, quiter. I believe we have been pulled away from peace, happiness, true childhood fun. I have some of those memories, due to high fevers when I was young, some have been lost.
Okay, but this episode features segments which were filmed and aired in the late 90s-early 2000s.

If the law doesn’t get him. The Creator will 💯
@@mcfrenchfry2196 Your 100% spot on. The devil will not support no one, not one at the last day when all will stand before God to be judged. When I was young I never understood the meaning "The wages of sin is death". Now in my Twilight years I can comprehend it so much more. To not live with our Creator and descend below into a lake of fire if we are found unworthy BUT to die, regenerate, and die again and so on and so on eternally because our soul never dies is absolutely frightening to the extreme. But because its eternally progressive on a downward trajectory that makes it even more frightening and impossible to grasp except for those who are sent there.

Once again a guy like Stryder comes on like Mr Wonderful. When someone comes on strong like that with lot's of Charisma, that is a huge red flag you may dealing with a narcissist. Educate yourself on these types of people.
I like the older episodes better. (Seasons 1-7) The NBC Friday night episodes were pretty good too with a new very ominous theme score.
I remember when UM was moved to CBS for 2, 6 episode seasons and then it got moved to Lifetime. I knew that was the beginning of the end.
But why...this was *the* best program ever...finely executed
I'm so confused. The report said that they didn't have their seat belts on when they were found in the jeep. I would think a jeep would be a ton easier to exit in this kind of situation than a car with solid glass windows. Seriously, does anyone know?
Sadly her brother was killed in a bar brawl shooting 7 years later. It makes one wonder if this was the same bar Traci was suppose to meet her boyfriend at that night in Edgar. Which brings me to, when she didn't show up to meet her boyfriend that night at the bar, did he just say screw it and go home. There's no mention that he wondered that night why she didn't show up and go looking for her.
I'm curious how they ended up catching Margo after 30 years?
"Seduced and then had sexual relations" is a weird way to say "pedophile raped a child" who tf uses the word "seduced" in reference to rape? It's called "groomed".

Regarding Bill and Tracy. It's baffling how they remained there for 2yrs in the exact same area they searched prior. That's a long time. It should've been more visible then than when it was found. It's a blessing that the family was finally able to get some peace of mind & closure.

@@trevorsmith4392 Authorities believe Bill and Traci mistakenly turned off a narrow private road and while turning around they may have rolled into the pond where they remained unnoticed for two years.Neither of them were wearing their seat belts, and damage to the front of the jeep was consistent with a low-speed impact with water. Thanks for posting these videos!
I just discovered a hole in the solved case of Bill Rundle and Traci Kenley’s solved case.
If it truly was an accidental shift into the lake like the update says, why was Bill’s hat at the intersection randomly!?
And according to the Unsolved Mysteries Wiki which goes into further details of the update; that Bill and Traci were found to not have their seatbelts on, no sign of struggle or anything! If they were drowning, how come they were found as if they were at peace to a degree? With no sign of foul play anywhere!?
And to make things more interesting; Traci had a brother named Billy who was murdered in 2007, by a 33 year old man named Dave Mazour. Doesn’t anyone find it odd that two people died of very dubious circumstances in retrospect, and the brother of one of the victims also dies nearly a decade later in a presumably random act of violence!?
Something is not adding up here, I don’t like the fact that the update was so willy-nilly and accepting of all the facts given and how we found the bodies two years afterward in uncompromised positions; everything about this case reeks to high heaven.
Very interesting analogy of the case.
Nah, I wouldnt worry about it. Sometimes info on the net is incorrect. And its surprisingly not unheard of for folks to accidentally drive into a lake. A lot of times Ill read updates to a case that is completely missing info.
I’m wondering if maybe they hit their heads and passed out before going in the water. That would explain why they looked at peace when found. And as for Bills hat it probably flew out the window as they were driving. And I think for Tracis brother it just a sad and tragic coincidence:(
@@tonylopez-russell2631

True!
It's not hard to believe human animals exist.
Wait a minute, margo freshwater was caught 30 years after she was sentenced to 99yrs and has served her time and been released.
