Great 👍 piece of gear I take this on my cycle touring trips but I use my Trangia burner stove with the X Boil windshield to cook all my main meals, then I use the small burner to make a cuppa during the day.
Did you have to pay any import duty/additional import fees? Trying to decide whether I should buy direct or there are a few places selling them in the UK.
Did you end up having to pay import duty or other fees ontop of the purchase price? There are a few places selling these direct in the UK now for a small markup.
@@AloneAdventures hmm - inside the lid there is a disc of some kind of material, that is supposed to keep the container tight. Apparently this materiel could be damaged by high temperature and the container could be leaking. Someting similar to the Trangia burner.. 🤔
You must be thinking of the trangia which has a rubber gasket inside the lid to create a seal for keeping fuel in the burner. I have checked and there is no seal or gasket in the x-boil stove so smothering the flame with the lid will not cause any damage
Apologies X-Boil is based in Germany and is not Dutch 🤫Let me know if you have an X-Boil and what's your thought's?
Great video man, I was actually looking at that UL table few months ago. Just subbed
Great review was looking for a video like this. I’ve purchased the standard size. Will definitely be looking at that cup you mentioned.
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. The link all the items are in the description so have a look.

...3:47 Dutch company... No, X-Boil is based in Bavaria / South part of Germany near the border to Austria😉
Thank you I did realise after I recorded the video 😊great product use it on all my trips and if I am just out on a hike for the day.
German company and I paid though PayPal, very easy you just scan the code and it links to the PayPal invoice. Great stove and video 👍

Great video - but the company states, that you should not use the lid to put out the stove, because you could damage the gasket. Just blow it out.. 😊
Thanks for watching - Sorry if you don't mind me asking which gasket are you referring to?
