for those out there trying to decide about this controller, you can turn the rgbs off to preserve battery life
Can this be use in myboy gba, snes and ppsspp emulators?
@@quchi7232 yes. it can. i personally used it with my Visualboy emulator but i assume it would also work with myboy gba, if not switch to visual boy. there is one thing though, for some reason the start button closes the emulator and i couldn't figure out why so in the controller mapping settings, I'd map it to another button say one of the stick presses to avoid this issue.
@@xMeeqah its still working?
@@enriquealeonar4436 yep no changes man! works a treat but just as i said don't press the start button if you're not save stating a lot
@@xMeeqahhey , how to mapp the back button on android ? Is it require the app or something ?
Damn I actually love your reviews. Well edited, thorough, and an honest opinion. I hope your channel blows up one day and gets the subs you deserve. Great video, best of luck.
I've had mine for almost a year now, and until now it is working perfectly with everything. The buttons at the back are actually macro buttons, you can map them to do certain combos.
For example in GTA, you can program M1 to apply the cheat code for full health in just one press of a button, of course you will have to record the button sequence just once. It is quite easy to do, there are tutorial videos on YT too.
Great review, totally agree w/ almost everything you said.
You can switch off the LEDs to get more battery life
How do you do it? Not in the manual though
@@andresloth It's in my manual, page 11.
Hold LT, RT, R3 + D-pad's Up or Down to adjust the brightness of the light. (R3 is the right joystick button).
Turbo + D-pad's Up or Down to adjust the intensity of motor vibration.
I got this one like a couple of weeks ago, I got actually suprised because I had low expectatives because of the price but I wanted so bad a controller to use on my pc and the extra of being also compatible with Android and Switch catched my attention.
My biggest contra is that it feels too plastic-y, I totally recomend it for people short on budget like I am right now
Loved the review man.. very honest and no sugar coats.
5:18 I think you can fix this problem with using the 2.4 GHz WiFi USB Adapter instead of using bluetooth when you play games that requires lesser latency.
had mine for 2 years now, you can lower the RGB light by pressing L2+R2 and then press up and down arrow if you wanna up the lights of down of just turn it off
Compatible with elden ring?
To explain why it's not useless with backlit buttons. Its great for people who casually game in a dark environment and cant remember which of those 4 buttons are located where. Its easy to mix them up if you just game every now and then you get hints on the game screen where it says hit the yellow button and you look down on the controller or you guess and hit right some of the time and wrong some of the time.
Hey man, my first recommended video of yours was the 'replying to comments' which was a great video. I've now been watching your other reviews for the last hour. You've got a new subscriber out of me. Love your work!
PS. Where's the new mic at?!
Im about to buy this for PC gaming and find this video. Great review!
did u buy it
Is input lag comparable to Xbox series controller on pc? (with an adapter and wire)
Its great that it has back lit buttons. Thats just what I need.
The one on website doesn't even say t4 so I'm confused what that one can do
Called gamesir cyclone multi platform controller
It doesn't remember it's pairing for Android (Nvidia Shield, Android TV). Even though just turning it back on with the power button it still goes into blinking mode and doesn't remember the pairing. The Android TV remembers it but not the remote. :(
Honestly loved this controller, but after connecting to my iPhone or iPad Pro I started noticing the controller would start have really laggy connectivity and lags the inputs. Had mine for 2 years now
But doesn’t happen when I use it for the switch.
Planning on changing it for a 8bitdo pro 2
Nice. I have a review on that one out there if you’re interested
What do you think about the Rotor Riot? I have that and a Kishi. The Rotor Riot is my preferred one but I only use it at home the Kishi goes out because of the portability.
That’s not bad, the only thing I didn’t like was the cable made the thing kinda clumsy
@@TechSpaceCowboy yeah the cable does kind of suck but I suppose if someone is gaming on an old iPad it would be good. I wrapped the cord around the clip where it connects to the controller and used the Velcro so it doesn't come undone and left just enough slack to plug the phone into.
Got mine for over 2 years now and the rubber on the analogue sticks disintegrated but I love them. Thinking of getting another one or the g4 pro
Great review, thanks! Just one question, is the mobile bracket adjustable?
Yes
Just noticed that this one doesn’t have “honest” in the title…
YOU WON’T FOOL ME, SATAN!!! I CAN SEE YOUR DECEPTICON PLAIN AS DAY
Oh doesn’t it though? 😏
@@TechSpaceCowboy Mother of God, that level of power shouldn't even be possible!
Its still good for casual gaming. Rgb still good when playing in a dark places. If you played console gaming controllers you can see the big difference.
how do I connect bluetooth to my ps4 so that I can use it? Does it work on ps4?
IS it good for dls 24?
I just received mine and I am kind of disappointed. The controller will cause button prompts even when I'm not pushing anything. Is there a fix?!
Does the rumble feature works on android and also does it work as a wired connection on android
Nice video review!
Just one question. Does this work with an xbox series x? Your video convinced me to get one. So now just want to make sure it’s compatible.. LoL
I don’t have a series X to test, I’d check the tech specs and see if it states it can online
The joysticks are Hall effect joysticks ???
would you recommend these over the 8bitdo SN30 pro 2?
Can I play this on emulator?.like ps2 iso on android aether sx2
Wait, could you explain how the light on the thumb stick is a battery level indicator? That's been my ONLY real complaint about this controller besides the very small travel on the trigger buttons.
Does it work with xbox cloud gaming or GeForce now? My cheap wireless controller broke lol, planning to buy a new one
What other phone clamp would you recommend?
I use a magsafe phone mount it's awesome compared to the clips
is this controller works on mac book pro, I need a controller that work with both mac. and my iphone, Can anyone provide some suggestions
Does vibration / rumble work under iOS / Android?
I had those in 2019. On 3 month ussage, the gamepad wont turn off completely, so the battery quickly drained. When you charge and pull of the cable when its full, the light still On. Same with playing wired, pull off the cable, light still on. Had to hard reset every time. The analog rubber not durable either. But its indeed feel great when I use it, the layout, button press, analog movement, very nice.
are you still using it now?
how does this compare to the 8bitdo sn30 pro and the pdp little wireless?
Can you connect it via USB C on Android?
Yes
Does it support Mediatek? I like T3S but it doesn't support Mediatek.
Would you maybe do an extended review with added gameplay?
I would consider this maybe for racing games like EA's Real Racing 3.
But like you said the RGB isn't necessary, so idk.
Also I really dig the way you just talk.
Your voice is easy on the ears and your talk is chill too.
Yeah, klinking beermugs from Germany. 🍻✨😆
Haha thank you.
I have too much other stuff in the works to review this controller further. There’s nothing else to say for me beyond what I already shared.
Thank you for your support though!
This is a solid budget controller.
You can turn off the lights.
I bought two of these t4 pro, after a year they both have drift on the left stick. I don't recommend them, better buy the T4 Cyclone or cyclone pro.
Just got myself a ps5 today 😀
Nice. Congrats
Has anyone tried using this with Warzone Mobile? I know the game barely came out but just asking.. if so let me know how it was…
..and I just subscribed
Who is better this t4 pro or t4 kaleid ??
review G4 Pro too please
Is that controller have a software on pc ?
What rank r u on RL? Also great review👍
In sideswipe I’m plat 4,
Diamond 1 in RL
@@TechSpaceCowboy wow me too diamond 1 on RL. Sadly i cant download sideswipe cuz my phone is not compatible with it :(
can it hold a switch lite?
Who I turn the controller off
how to off this gamepad?
Isn't input lag normal if you're connected via Bluetooth? Cause bluetooth isn't as fast as 2.4ghz and wired right?
Correct
Can the gamesir t4 work with netboom as well
i picked one up cause of ur review
How is the deadzone of this controller compared to something like the ps4 controller? have you tried testing it on the gamepad tester? Im really sensitive to deadzone because I play shooters. Ps4 and Ps5 are outside my budget.
I bought mine just a few weeks ago, it has a normal deazone, I have tried in a couple of shooters on switch and android and I haven't got any problem (just a few on android but just becaue I don't touch the sensitivity settings), and some other third person shooters on pc and I didn't have any problem.
I haven't tried it for competitive shooters though, the closest one to this was CoD Mobile but again, any problem except for one that I only had on that game
Edit: I said that I have problems with cod mobile, but it wasn´t the controller or the game, is my phone xD so no problems at all
@@ErJotaCL Cool, I'll add this to one of my options to buy when my controller dies. Thanks.
is it compatible on huawei y7a kirin 710
yup, I have the exact one, just one thing, if you are looking to play games like CoD Mobile with this controller, pair it with the iOS mode, it will work as well but it recognizes it as a Xbox Controller, and since CoD only suports Xbox/PS4/PS5 controllers you will be able to use the Gamesir T4 without problems
Its so good. The form, the feel, the buttons. Everything is nive except the left analog stick. It sometimes lose input while tilted fully forward. Character would suddenly stop moving forward. It manifested about a month after purchase. I see so. E forums o li e complaining of the same problem. Ive tried many solutions which works but it sometimes returns. I find not pushing it all the way solves the problem but its hard to consistently do.
Lights for the dark
Hi will this fit galaxy fold 2?
I am not sure, I don’t think it will unfolded.
Please does the latency go away when connected via usb
Oh wait you can shut down the led lights on that controller.
The light can turn off😅
hello, my gamepad is in AB, XY inverted and LT RT digital not analogic mode. how can i turn back? please help me, i don't see any instructions on manuals
Behind it has a hole to push to with something thin and make a hard reset, this hole is hide by they sticker
@@naakmsc I used, no change
this or easysmx ?
@Jesus Requena no one lol still playing with mouse/keyboard
Also bracket is trash. I didnt even use it once and after about 2 months the springs inside the joint pushed themselves out wrecking the joint rendering the bracket useless.
can you explain how to turn it off ???
just press the home button for 5 seconds
Is it compatible with latest ios?
iOS 15 yeah, haven’t tried the 16 beta
@@TechSpaceCowboy thanks bro im planning to get one of that.
Bruh, get yourself a boom arm.
Hi
Sup
@@TechSpaceCowboy love your channel
My only problem with this controller is the ABXY button too noisy.
Good call out
Can this work on Xbox one?
