    This may be a great informative video but can’t hear you bkz of the empty room you are in. Very frustrating.

    Thanks for the video Darren. Do you have to have the tractor on jack stands to run through this autolearn sequence?

      Sure np thanks for reaching out. Yes or if you have backhoe you can raise rear tires with stabilizers. Use loader to raise front. For the hydro pedals relearn step you need all wheels off ground.

    I wonder if this would work on a JD 3520?

    • @darrenmas
      @darrenmas  3 месяца назад

      Did a little research and the JD 3520 has a diagnostic mode which allows you to troubleshoot the error code. I would recommend getting a service manual and I bet you could fix it. The 3520 uses a similar controller and sensors so I bet you could do a reset/relearn if needed. Definitely start with service manual.

    I need some help!!! So I did this to my machine. It took me about 7 attempts but I got it. The last time I did it, everything went like it should but I still had the flywheel code at the end. No biggie. I shut the machine off for 10 seconds, started it back up and tested the forward and reverse pedals and the wheels moved like they should. I shut it off, it sat for 15 minutes, I got it off the jack stands and what not, started it back up and it won't move again!!! What could be wrong with it!?

      @@user-ux3ye8fu3v that code is “simultaneous command from forward and reverse”. The controller is receiving voltage from both forward and reverse pedal at same time and machine won’t move because it doesn’t know which direction is being pressed. Most likely one of the potentiometers is bad or loose. I would recommend testing each one. I have a video on how todo this using a volt meter. Let me know if you can’t find it.

      IT IS FIXED! Thank you so much for your help! I appreciate you so much. Your video you recommend gave me a great starting place. I found the potentiometer under the tractor for the forward and reverse pedals. I checked both of them like the video shows and they both read good. ..... well I felt silly when I realized this whole time my pedals have just been getting sticky and they werent returning like they should when I let off the pedal. Fortunately where i needed to lube up is under the same cover as the potentiometer!!! I put some knocker-loose on the and let it sit. Everything is freed up and working well now. I feel silly that it was something so simple but thanks to you I got it and saved lots of money. Thank you.

    Thanks. I have a 4310 that I bought new. I had 1500 hours on it, and the battery died. The hour meter reset to zero, never to return. I can't imagine resetting the board would suddenly find the lost 1500 hours.
    Also, this past Fall the tractor speed started surging badly while moving forward, usually under load. For some reason I turned off the Load Match switch, and the problem went away! Not too concerned, since I've never (intentionally) used Load Match, but I wonder if doing a reset would fix it.
    The only other problem is the 3-point lever (rock shaft) that it's so stiff it's unusable. I understand there is a fiber washer involved, but I can't seem to find a way to get to it.

      Thanks for reaching out. The JD4310s are great. Hours meters always go out eventually on them. Sometimes they reset or become hard to read vs going out. All the older 4000 series used the same meter and have similar problems. I've had a few machines with the load match and honestly everyone disables it, since it doesn't work all the time. Fairly normal to have the machine do strange things when its on. Rock shaft lever is another thing thats always kind of frozen. Simplest thing to do is use some wd40 on the pivot points if you can get to them.

    Mine is stuck flashing the “reverse” and “throttle” light sequence over and over no matter what I do with throttle or the reverse pedal :/

    • @darrenmas
      @darrenmas  4 месяца назад

      If it started happening after battery died or was removed then it probably needs a controller relearn/reset. I would check the voltages on the reverse potentiometer and if they are normal do the relearn/reset on the controller.

      @@darrenmas sorry, I meant it’s flashing those codes during the relearn on the controller. I bet the potentiometer is bad. Thank you for tip . Linkage had broken and got it fixed up , must be potentiometer or something
