    Hello jeff...can we autolaunch the dolphin using frisbee/wing throw style? I already had my fingers clipped by the 7 inch props during launch...aauochhj

    Hi Jeff
    If BLHeli doesn’t show the low voltage cut off, does it mean there is no cutoff for that esc?
    And do you connect the BLheli configurator thru the FC usb plug?
    I used a BLHeli usb dongle directly to the esc, which is not so convenient 😅

    How are the control surfaces set? I just got a dolphin and the right side is slightly higher than the left in manual mode while level. Kinda new to fixed wing. I did succeed flying the penguin.

    In autolaunch mode, we don't need to raise throttle, right?
    Then after throwing the plane, we will raise the throttle (to 50-70%), did I understand correctly?
    And do we set switch for autolaunch and angle mode are activated at the time?

      arm in autolaunch, raise the thottle to max. the plane will throttle up to the autolaunch idle throttle you set, then you throw it. after it detects the throw it will raise throttle to the autolaunch throttle and climb out. after autolaunch has completed, or you touch the sticks then your sticks will start working normally.

    when i hit "read setup" in BLHELI it says "reading setup finished" but nothing is showing up, do you have any tips? ESC is powered with a battery

    Hey Jeff, thanks again for your videos! May I ask something? Let's say I have the matek board (the 405 like this one) and want to install it on a different plane, are these settings OK and need some adjustments, or it's very different and has to be set again from 0? Thanks!

      From one flying wing to another, you should be okay.

    thanks for this config u have helped me setup my first fix wing, 2 questions though, what switches should i setup (flight mode, buzzer rth etc.) Also do you have the stock electronics on your plane like the 2306 motor and 30a esc from atomrc? Im asking as i want to copy it exactly so that i can have my plane working with the stock electronics. Thanks :)

      Yes, in this video, I have the stock electronics, motor, esc, and prop. I'm making a video right now on my radio setup, too. It should be out on Saturday or Sunday.

      Check this for the gps, 8:29 gps on uart 4, 8:49 GPS For nav and telemetry, 15:41 at the top GPS for navigation and telemetry. Then take it outside and wait a couple of minutes for it to get a lock. Once it has a lock and 6 satellites it remembers your general location and will lock satellites faster then next time you power it up. Let me know if this works.

    Thank you for this video, will help my problem of the auto lunch! its new and didnt know how to set the correct values! May I ask if this is the stock motor or you can set these values to every motor? I have a 1500kv motor, 7x4.5 prop and 6s battery, is it ok or the throttle will be too much? Thanks!!!

      Too much throttle is never a problem. You can also can apply these setting to other crafts and different motor/prop setups. When setting up autolaunch I start with max setting and then tune it down from there.

    Where do you plug an epressLrs receiver in the atomrc f405 navi flight controller like in your model

      You plug into any available UART on the flight. It's a 4 wire connection, ground, positive, TX, and RX. If use UART #1.
