Last week, I visited a local Argentine Asado Meat Feast Mecca: The Jineteada! There was wild horse riding, lots of gauchos, and, of course, lots of Asado.
Considered one of the most traditional events in Argentine culture, "jineteada" is a traditional gaucho sport that involves gauchos (Argentine version of cowboys) riding wild horses with or without saddling. The Jineteada is generally a major social event, bringing together the local community with lots of roasted meat, empanadas, mate, and, of course, Wine!
This Jineteada was located in a small town close to our place, called "La Mascota" maps.app.goo.g... a small rural town.
Here, we enjoyed homemade Empanadas, lots of Mate, slow-roasted ribs, choripan, chimichurri, Patagonian lamb, and lots of wild horse riding!
Enjoy!

Very interesting. I am curious do the season the meat with anything while it is cooking or just the brine?
Just brine throughout the cooking process, and small amount of salt / cracked pepper before putting on the spit.
