Major Love from Australia! All barbers gotta be safe right now we are some of the most vulnerable people because we’re touching faces and breathing the same oxygen as our clients and the safety of our families is more important than a fresh cut
We all struggle with that line my bro I’m 4 years in and still struggle with fades but to be a complete barber we must learn to fade and love it lol that dam line
My technique for that bald/0 open line is this:
After creating that bald line with your trimmers/clippers, clean the bottom up with the shaver, but leave around like 1/2 - 1 inch space to the actual line and just fade with the single blade of the shaver. If you go too close with the shaver to your initial guideline, its gonna be a problem to fade that line with any trimmer/clipper even though its zero-gapped. Just patience and practice! Hope this helps man!

Leave about a quarter of an inch line when using the shaver under the initial bald line then barely tap and flick the shaver going downwards on the quarter of an inch line under the under guide line
How to fix hair loss:
1. Shave head bald.
2. Lift weights.

It's cool that you call yourself out during the video, and that you talk about that boundary where it's you vs the client. Flip the trimmers and go upwards in a flick out motion and it will take out the bald line. If you have to take the shaver lightly and tap it downwards to not create another line. Great cut Fonz

Yeah i teach kids and its surprising how many kids have widows peaks, even the girls. Compared to societies ideals some people never even come close. You may not be losing your hair but for example have hair so fine that 90% of cuts just don't work. Some people have massive foreheads too or the Brock lesnar forehead. Just from birth.
Me I've got a widows peak because the centre is so low down forehead. Its all relative.
To take out that first guide line, use a flick or a scoop out method with the corner of the trimmer or clipper

Corona virus lockdown actually got me cutting my cousins and brothers hair and now im abt to take it more serious and get into barbering.. ive already invested in cordless magic clips, wahl detailers (corded), Babyliss Pro FX skeleton trimmer, Babyliss Pro foil shavers. I find taking out the skin line with babyliss shavers really difficult as it keeps moving up the line so have the andis foil shaver on my wishlist. Also got the senior and babyliss pro clippers on my wishlist too but for now just using whatever tools i have. Love your videos because your actually showing content with customers who dont have the perfect hair and what u do with it makes a big difference... respect from the UK 🇬🇧 subscribed

Great video, great cut. Listen YoungBlood, things take time. 3 years is really a drop in the bucket. It took me 5 years before everything came to be like 2nd nature. You just need to cut more and more hair. The more you cut, the better you will become, and you can't rush that. I've been cutting for over 30 years. What you need to start doing now, is taking care of your body. Stretch, exercise, and see a massage therapist. This line of work is hard on your body, take care of it. But see a good massage therapist at least once every two weeks, especially if you are cutting hair 5 days a week. It will take a toll on your body and health. God bless you brother. peace

I starting taking my health more serious 6 months ago. I started feeling sluggish and gained weight. All I did was eat trashy food and didn’t work out AT ALL!!

I still eat pizza, burgers, and ice cream, but I make sure I earn my cheat days. I don't eat as much as I used to, but now I savor every bite on my cheat days, because I work friggin' hard to stay fit and in good shape- Balance. I watch your videos and your cuts are on-point. I had to make this decision a month ago and I feel good about it till this day. I was getting the horseshoe with the puff in the middle of the front on my head and the empty bird nest on top in the back. I would ask my barber to cut my hair to the lowest point of my baldness. After awhile of doing this, my wife and kids said it looked like I was shaving my head completely bald anyway 🤷🏽♂️ One Saturday morning I just went out and bought a clipper and a new foil guard for my Wahl close shaver and took EVERYTHING off. Took a FEW folks a little while to get use to it in a day or two but after that, things went right back to normal. I like the fact that I can do it myself and I don’t have the hassle of having to plan when I got to make time to go to my barber. I’m saving money anyway be doing this and I couldn’t have picked a better time since “Corona” showed up on the scene now. Besides, couple guys here have decided to cut there hair bald because of the Corona virus 🦠 I didn’t want to part with my hair at first but, it has given me a chance to TRY and grow a beard since I’m not balding in my face. Oh what I wouldn’t give to turn back the hands of time 🤔 I live in the Virgin Islands 🇻🇮 and we are all feeling the reach of the Corona virus 🦠. We got 8 cases on the island of St.Thomas and 9 on the island of St.Croix. The governor gave a press conference today and decided to shut down places like bars,churches and no large gatherings. We can still go to the drive-thru for food,shop in the wholesale stores,etc.etc. Folks have bought up ALL the toilet paper 🧻 here also 🤣😂🤣. We are trying to make the BEST of it and praying that we ALL can make it out of this dilemma. My prayers go out to EVERYONE being affected by the Corona virus and whatever troubles that may be plaguing you at this time. Just pray and believe in the Almighty 🙏🏽💯%

It could be how your shaving it always happens to me and I can’t take it out with my trimmer sometimes so I fade it out by tapping with the shaver with the grain or flicking out with one foil against the grain
