      He needs the proper medication.
      My nephew started showing aggressive behaviour in his 20's but then he wouldn't remember saying or doing mean things. Since he gets injections to help him control that side of him he's back to his sweet helpful wonderful person I knew before he developed that disorder.
      It's scary I know because the person acts out like someone we don't know.
      Your brother needs a psychiatric doctor to help him. It will help so much but he needs to take it otherwise it will get worse or he can become violent.
      Good luck 🙏

    I love that you record your life with schizophrenia. People going through schizophrenia and see your videos feel like there's hope and know they are not alone. I do not have schizophrenia but I have anxiety which is not the same i know. But my point is that I wish when I first started going through the anxiety and panic attacks there were more resources and friendly and relatable people who openly shared. You're the true meaning of one day someone will hear your story and use it as a survival guide. All the best.

      Couldn't disagree more. Making a casual 10 second video with "likes" , "views" and an open comment section for casual engagement is the worst thing anyone can do. I know what it's like to live with schizophrenia and it should NEVER be normalized; it's a SEVERE illness. There is no message in this video at all. My mother took medicine every day of her life for this disease. I remember one time when her sister and family came to visit and her sister stole her medication. My mom had an episode where she woke me up in the middle of the night, took me in the kitchen in front of the sliding glass doors and had me lay in her lap ( i was around 9 or 10 years old at the time so you can imagine how increasingly scared i was getting it was totally uncharacteristic of her) anyway while she kept watch for the serial killer Charles Manson and his gang. She actually thought they were camped out across the river from us. And another time years and years later she had gone in for stomach surgery and somehow they got her meds wrong and she wound up not knowing she was at the hospital and what she was doing there. She thought they were trying to harm her. Its a scary disease. She had it and my brother was recently diagnosed with dementia so does that mean i will have one or the other?? Lord i hope not!

      I can't blame you when you are scared going to psychaiatric hospital because
      some of those worker in the hospital are not compassionate to patients with mental illness,anyway not all and there are worker in the hospital who practice the oath.Anyway, as long your mental illness is manageable you don't need to go to hospital.Not all paranoia are bad and now a days you need to be a little paranoid because not every one has best intention.Anyway, ADHD is lack of focus and I think you
      can train your brain to stay focus through meditation.

      advocate yourself through reading and seeking right information when it comes to mental health.

    • @CelestialExility
      @CelestialExility 5 месяцев назад +5

      I live in two separate dimensions, the reality and an alternate one. I’m always 50% on each, but sometimes the alternate reality takes over. The people around me, they’re 100% in reality unlike me, so having them around me sort of helps bringing me back to reality. In other words, being around people help me stay in touch with reality, and I don’t have as many hallucinations as opposed to when I’m by myself. That’s the way I view it, hope this helps understand

    • @CelestialExility
      @CelestialExility 5 месяцев назад +4

      Also, I know when something is real or a hallucination, but only afterwards, like when I go “back to normal”. Deep down I can tell when something feels off, but my mind can’t, my body can’t, so it feels as if they’re real. You can hear it, sometimes see it, feel the fear and paranoia like it’s 100% real. But only afterwards can you be sure, once you’re no longer in that “hypnotic” state.

      It sounds like the brain is trying to dream while you're awake, but if not a lucid dreamer. I'm curious what dreaming is like for people with schizophrenia, and how it differs from the hallucinations.

    • @CelestialExility
      @CelestialExility 3 месяца назад

      @@thewatcher7823 I notice that my hallucinations usually take the shape of horror movie characters that I watched before. I used to binge watch horror stuff as a child, and to this day I’m still haunted by it. I don’t know if the movies had anything to do with the development of my schizophrenia, probably not, but it did affect the way I hallucinate. The “realest” hallucination I experienced was when I watched Scream, after I finished watching it I went right to sleep.
      English ain’t my first language and I’m really bad at explaining situations, but i’ll try: I was lying on the bed, on my side. I was facing the door, and my back was turned towards the wall. I felt a strong presence behind me. I tried to ignore it but couldn't; fear took hold of me. When I turned towards the wall to see what was behind me, I saw Ghostface holding a butcher knife to my neck. I closed my eyes, jumped right out the bed aiming for the light switch, screamed my sister for help. When she came running to see what happened, I turned on the light switch anddd yeah that mf disappeared. I had to sleep with her that night, I was extremely paranoid. I think I was around 10 at the time.
      Something very similar happens when I’m dreaming. It feels real, I can’t tell whether I’m dreaming or not, “lucid dreams” seem impossible for me. I’m ngl, I mostly just sleep and wake up without dreaming whatsoever, but when I do, it’s the craziest scenarios, usually a “copy” of my daily routine but with something disastrous. Like, dreaming about going to the gym and getting kidnapped instead, it’s a very terrible feeling because I always wake up scared and sweating.
      Rn I’m taking Olanzapine which really calms me down and stops my hallucinations, I rarely get them and when I do it’s easier to ignore. One thing I hate about it is because idk, I feel dumb when on meds, like I just wanna sleep and nothing else 😭🙏🏽

    Are the hallucinations ever real enough that you can feel them? I know the human mind is a scary powerful thing but would it help you that when they appear, that you maybe try to touch them? If the encounters are similar where they're calling you a liar, maybe try touching their hand first and if you don't feel them, you know they're not real. Just a suggestion..
