Wonderfully explained video, I have also seen HEC-HMS training video of yours and they are also amazing. Thank you for sharing these training videos, they are so much of useful information and the way you teach from basics to solving errors is just amazing.

hi, hopefully you'll see my message, how do you see the area of the inundation polygon for all three reaches for each simulation?

Thank you for your presentation! I have a question: How should I do when my river is in a urbanized area so that my floodplain has buildings in the middle? I mean, hec ras computes the water level cutting the elevation of the cross section, and I have water in different areas evend if they are not hydraulically connected...How can I solve that?

You should use a DEM that has building elevations and you can add these as obstructions so water will flow around them.

I follow with great interest all the videos that you present and I would like to congratulate you for all the efforts you put in transmitting your knowledge.
I have a little problem with high resolution image layout like the one you are using in your tutorial. Please help me download images identical to the ones you are showing. Because I am unable to define suitable river sections for the study for HEC RAS.
    Thanks in advance.
I hope to see more videos related to flow 2D
