Was bummed 9.5 sold out last min but allowed me to pick a size up. So I ended up with size 10 and glad I did. Fits like a glove! And QC was done on mines looks great

I have these, lost and found, trophy room 7s and still I think sneaker of the year is the Zion x Voodoo Jordan 1 low.. I'm not even a fan of the silhouette, but trust me people are going to be so sad they slept on them
I would give these the edge over the L&F 1s. The primary reason is because we got a retro of the AJ1 Chicago in 2015. Then in 2018, we got the Origin Story 1. Now in 2022 we get the L&F 1. And while they L&F is amazing, as are the other iterations of the Chicago 1s, it feels like as time goes on, the L&F 1s will become just another Chicago release, where as these AMM 4s are essentially a one-time thing. Plus you have the backstory and influence to vote and spark change tied to the release, they didn’t have a mold issue like the 1s did, I think history will favor these in the long term.
It’s the Lost and Found’s for me first… but this drop is a must cop for me. Top 5 for 2022. Man, Seth I Started watching you around the time you posted the black toe and game royal videos like 4 or so years ago I believe. But, I’m very proud of your growth and your 1M achievement and hope this growth continues to advance. You deserve it. Thanks for everything you do. You’ve shown us that it’s bigger than RUclips. Every shoe with a brown/violet colorway and cream outsole is fire 🔥
I love these. They look great w sail/cream color laces in my opinion. Quality is great on my pair. They are just a smooth classy looking shoe. Nice review!!
So based on my experience, my true size is a 12. However on these, I got a 13 and I’m very happy I did. I think the quilted interior makes it a more snug fit. As a result, I’d recommend a half size to full size up if you’re planning to cop.

@@flaneurfilms1940 I believe you. Idk what it was about these. I actually went for the size 12 but it sold out. The 13 was available so I copped. Once they came in, I was so glad I did bc they fit perfectly for me

I held it up to my Travis Scott 4’s which I got TTS (12) and the AMM 4’s I hit on in a size 13 don’t even look like they’re even a half size up almost identical but a little wider. The sizing I’ve seen on these were messed up but I’m there with you I got lucky I tried for a 13 when 12.5 or even 12 was gone cause these fit perfectly for me.
That’s crazy that’s yours fit good going a full size up. I hit on my true size which is 10 and they fit better than any 4s that i own. Walked all day in them yesterday and they felt great
I got these for my girl, because she has the AMM 3 and she wears those like crazy. Luckily I hit on them, but as soon as she opened them she asked if we could resell them. The shoe color isn’t purple and it isn’t brown, it’s something in between. Very disappointing they didn’t come with a pair of cream laces. BUT the actual quality of the shoe is crazy, and the box presentation is immaculate. It’s just gonna be a hard shoe to wear on a daily rotation.
You know for a premium shoe… it’s kinda surprising that there’s no spare black laces or sail cream colored laces to match the midsole. So disappointing, especially for a shoe that’s a Collab reselling for a lot!
Agree. If it’s a cost thing I’d much rather them cut an extraneous “premium” detail like the hang tag or plastic box sheath, than provide only one pair of laces

The only thing I dislike about these is that slight purple color when they are in the sun I wish they were just a little darker almost like a mocha color but def snarked of the year in opinion
It’s a great looking sneaker, but as a Chicagoan that grew up watching MJ, I have to go with AJ1 Lost and Found as sneaker of the year. The one that started it all!

This is my favorite sneaker, hands down. The story this sneaker tells, of the powerful black and brown men and women leaders, is one that is so close to me. Especially considering the fact that there would be no sneaker culture without the influence of black and brown people and their respective leaders. I love how the quote on the heel tab and it’s focus on direction- always forward. Great video Seth, thanks for continually putting out quality content!

I think they are because the Chicago lost and found was just a cracked leather update, but these are pretty creative in terms of 4s.

i think the L&F 1s are sneaker of the year just solely off the fact that they’re easier to rock and they pop more, these are right behind it. was able to cop both manually 🤞🏽

I think the reason i like em so much is the color. Makes my italian NYer ass put em on with a velour sweatsuit 😂 perfect fall sneaker.
Both L&F & AMM4 are quality shoes. I can't hate on anyone for liking one over the other. Jordan 1 is a great looking shoe that would catch a lot of eyes. Whereas the AMM4 is more subtle in looks.
You gotta love how the Nike has a whole story going on for the L&F. From the old looking shoebox with the mismatched lid, to the newspaper wrap and the paid receipt. These are all really cool features that add to the shoe.
AMM4 also has a lot of features as well. The box comes in a nice plastic casing that the tabs slide in and lock on to the box without even noticing it is so sleek! When you're looking at the AMM4 box you get that feeling of luxury, and you feel like your $225 was well spent.
Amm4 is definitely a more subtle looking shoe. Which I think it makes it a great shoe for not only casual wear, but I think it would look great with formal wear.
Both are truly amazing and deserve to be SOTY, but if I'm going to hand the crown to only one of them. I choose the AMM4. For the fact that they are very unique and will do well with casual and formal wear.

In all honesty, the shoe is fire and def sneaker of the year. I just feel like they couldve added a few more laces at least. Cream laces or black would really change the entire concept of it but , its whatevaaaaa. Ill get new laces on my own

These look great on your foot, the color pops!!!! It's hard for me to give an Air Jordan 1 sneaker of the year just not the biggest fan of 1's, It has to be either a 4(midnight navy, or a ma) or a 2(union grey fog, a ma, chicago) for me.

IMO its a great quality shoe but its no where near sneaker of the year for me, too "plain".
Switch the laces uup and the shoes pop like crazy
I would say shoe of the year but the fact that quanity is so low (especially in England - COME ON ENGLAND🏴👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) and quality is questionable on some pairs shows the JB + Nike machine is still up to the same old tricks of pumping out pairs, trying to meet deadlines and putting customers and quality on the back burner. If I did what I had to do and pay a huge amount of resale like I did with the A M M 3s I could end up very dissatisfied with my pair. Plus people are jumping thru more and more elaborate hoops to get the pairs in the first place. Just like the 3s a complete minefield of a release ☹️
Jordan 1(Chicago)lost & found is a great shoe but we’ve seen it release numerous times. Shoe of the year should go to something that we haven’t seen before. The Jordan 4 A-ma-maniere gets the title this year🔥
