Today I'm reviewing the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined! The Reimagined Jordan 4 Bred has a release date of February 17th 2024 and a retail price of $215. The Bred 4 Reimagined is based off the iconic OG Air Jordan 4 Bred that first released in 1989. This reimagining of the Air Jordan 4 Black and Red or Bred switches the classic nubuck upper for a tumbled leather upper. I'm 45yrs old, the 4s have a special place in my heart. My first pair of Js in 5th grade were the fire reds. Always wanted the Breds, Military Blue, and Cements. These will be a nice make up. Glad the shape is closer to the OGs.Cant wait for the Military Blues.Keep up the good work Seth.

@@jamesbrowny9488 hey man Im 46 been into sneakers most my life and yeah I grabbed them shoes when they were younger and they have always seen my collection of them. I would buy my wife shoes all the time as well. she doesnt care too much haha my kids have a few but now they they are 14 and 15 they almost wear my size so they will rock some of my older shoes because lets be real they have hardly been worn haha. but none of them care as much as I do or did at their age.
I liked the fire reds also and got them first as a fellow 45 year old 😂 white cements I wore the most back then though.
I come from an era that leather was king. So when the 4s first dropped in '89, I was turned off by the suede. I've gotten used to it over the years, but tumbled leather has always been premium to me. I love them.

Me too. Never had the original. Did have the other three though. I have these now and can confirm they are waaaay better from materials to comfort and assembly.
As a long time shoe fan I truly appreciate they only changed the material for leather because they will be durable and easier to clean. 😎
I beg to differ...depending on the quality of leather..won't necessarily mean it will last longer.
I have the bred 4s and they are my easiest shoes to clean 😂 and I've wore them at least 3 days out of the week since 2019 and have zero problems with durability

Scuffs will be way easier to see scuffs on the leather I don't get why yall saying the leather will be more durable and easier to clean. 2019 pairs are tanks and super easy to clean 😅 I have 0 fear with beating them every day
I’m 46. The bred 4s are my all time favorite childhood grails. I have the 2019 re-release that I’ve only worn a few times. But I’ll still be going for these as well.
1978, here not my favorite. I have to go with the 6s. I own all colorways in them, but I, too, have the 2019 and hell yeah. Hopefully, owning these.

I'm a og at 54 and the only 4's I had was the original 1989 bred 4's and they killed my feet so I never got anymore Jordan 4 silhouettes until now. I hit on the sneakers app shock drop so looking forward to getting these new reimagined bred 4's in my collection and on feet.

Locked in the order for mine just last night. I was one of the few who was feeling these when they first came out, because leather is SO MUCH easier to clean than nubuck.

I agree! I love the OG, but because of leather for the reimagined, i prefer this new one for long term ans easy maintenance

Bred 4's were my first Jordan way back in 1989. I wore them until the stitching came apart and the air units popped.
I couldn’t get my hands on the 2019 pair and I tried. So I’m going after these for sure. Not the og but they’ll do. Hopefully it’s a nice tumbled leather like the Oreo 4’s, but I doesn’t look like it.

First AJ4 with pine green type shape, newer 4's had new shape with Thunders and Frozen Moments, then Red Cements and Olives a bit different shape, now from Bred Leathers on higher Shape like Pine Greens

Finally got the W. Entered 3 raffles & 3rd one was the charm.
DSG came through with the reservation today. so happy i can cop a pair. i dont wanna celebrate too much until i have them in hand, but i am excited. also with the laces, my 2019 breds got grey laces on them. they look pretty good, imo. i got tired of the black laces after awhile.

All the Jordan 4s this year will have the same tooling cut as the Sb 4's. These breds, the military 4s and A ma maniere 4s. As well as the rest coming out this year from now on will have completely switched over. The only difference between the SB 4 and the normal 4 is the midsole and outsole. @@bobuffet1386

Really hope I can cop these, I’ve been looking forward for them like, from when the rumors started, about 5 months aggo? Idk, I honestly don’t care about the OG’s, the reason I really want these is because of the leather, going outside and not having to worry about getting your awesome kicks dirty is a big W. Like, till now I just wear NB’s, the’re not THAT awesome but the’re good beater, but imagine beaters that actually look real nice and makes you confident, now that’s the shit
I like the matte look of nubuck a lot more on the bred 4s but my 2019 pair is pretty cooked so imma get these. Also the shape is looking way better than on the 2019 release

I’m on the fence honestly, I like the og much more and have the Oreo 4s. I actually loved the royal reimagined better because how much the blue pops, luckily for me they are more wallet friendly too haha
I also noticed the SHAPE of the Reimagined release is similar to the Nike SB x Jordan 4 - it’s closer to the shape of the OG.

Unfortunately I had to sell my 20119 because they were too narrow and were killing my pinkys. I always go .5 up on 4s because my wide feet.I was surprise that SBs were much more comfortable and they had more space imo so they were actually TTS. Hopefully this time around they fit better and I can go TTS.
Got a pair of 2012s when they released and wore them out lol skipped on the 2019 release and regretted it heavily. Will definitely be going for these though!

I had the original in ‘89, but these are dope too. Edit: these are better than original from a materials standpoint and comfort. Toe box is perfect too. No screw ups with assembly either. They’re a home run!
The shape looks good. That curvy sharp toe box I like, instead of the boxy toe box the 2019s have.

I’ve heard rumors that the bred 4 reimagined would have similar construction as the pine green SB 4s. What’s your take on this? Is the rear pull tab more rubber like or more plastic. Comfort? Padding etc?
I had the 2019 pair and beat the heck out of them so now I definitely need this back in my collection they are definitely going to last a lot longer then my 2019 pair

I preferred the tumble leather. Better for rain and dirt and longer lasting.
I honestly don’t like the OG bred 4 just because they are durabuck (synthetic suede). So glad they made them in leather, I would have even settled for a nice nubuck.
I got them at DSG. Thank God they started selling Jordans. They generally have a great selection. I’ve never been able to get one pair of shoes on SNKRS in 4 years. Imagine telling your customers “nah I don’t want your money”. SNKRS saved me $1000s by denying me every time 😂
If they are like my Jordan 4 Lasers, they will last and look better worn.. Leather on those were great.. Nice review!
For sure double up worthy I just hope next time they release in true Og form they need to give us better quality nubuk that last nubuk they gave us was such trash and creased so horribly that I couldn’t pass up on selling my personals for over $500 if they would have gave us a nice thick cut of nubuk I would have kept them so these will do in the meantime
I would have liked to see more focus on comfort because the reports were that these would be based on the SB 4 and should be more comfortable than the 4s of the last few years.

I live in Kansas City. I would say our city sandwich is the Z Man sandwich from Joe’s Kansas City Barbecue. I'm a sneaker head myself I really only buy the Retro colour ways but this shoe right here in my opinion is way way better then the OG newbuck pair the leather is just more premium and it just looks so much more clean and the wear and tear with leather looks nicer then the Newbuck but this is just things I notice I got the pure money 4s and the black cat 4s and they both crease differently the leather just creases nicer more durability
That is how Jordan 4 breds should look like. Just like the Jordan 11 gratitude. It should be all leather for it to be more premium looking.
Better than OG for sure. Leather over forms of suede. No stupid artificial weathering like the previous reimagined 1s and 3s
I've never owned a pair of the original black cement jordan 4s so this will be a nice consolation prize. That's how I feel.
