All very beautiful combos, but the Speckled Egg /Ripe Persimmon/Walnut Stain combo was stunning. Gives more of a rustic look & feel. Love this. Can't wait to get mine ordered.
That 4th one is just genius. I just picture a small silhouette cowboy and horse and ta da a card. I have my kitchen done in that new color and I love it. It is funny because my boyfriend calls the color in my kitchen birdshit green, then I have chocolate accents. NEXT Thank you so much for all of your videos while everyone is at home. I appreciate it so much and so do thousands of others, all the thought, time and effort into being so kind as to do so many videos for everyone. We all know the amount of time it takes just to do one video. I don't know where you get all of you ideas but they all are awesome. I think you lay in bed at night and have a pad and pencil by your bedside to right down ideas. Setting up alone is so much, getting supplies, rehearsal, clean up, then the video then the voice over. THANK YOU SO MUCH from the bottom of my heart.
Love these! You prolly won't see this but re: re-inking Oxide ink pads - the ink wants to sit on top more b/c of the pigments in it. Tim recommends working the ink into the pad with his scraping tool (or a gift card etc etc) as it presses the ink into the pad and then it will suspend and stabilize itself. Because the pads are felt it takes more effort/time for the re-inker to absorb into it
I have watched all of your oxide combo videos and it never ceases to amaze me how much you have to work in order to get your colors blended. They always come out beautiful, but they sure look like a lot of work! Thanks for the demo!
Thanks so much! And you're absolutely right. You do have to keep at it until the blend looks good. I suspect many who are frustrated with blending give up too soon. :)
Love the subtlety of this new colour. I like how it blends with the evergreen bough, so it’s great you showed us that order of ink blends. The last blend is beautiful.... reminds me of our Australian outback. 🥰
Per Tim, when re-inking a Distress Ink Pad (Oxide or Regular) you have to smush the ink into the pad with an old credit card, etc. The inks on these pads are suspended and will not completely spread out on their own even though it may seem like the ink sinks down and disappears. Love your blends! I love all of your videos!
Loving all four of your blendiing with the speckled egg Oxide ink. The one with the walnut stain reminds me of the Fall season. Thank you again for inspiring me. :)
Thanks so much for showing the possibilities for this new Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink!! Love your combos! I haven’t purchased this new color yet, so seeing your video is a big help! 💙🐦🐋❄️
I love these colors but particularly the last one! I've always loved looking at the sunset and those colors remind me of the end of a hot summer's day or the start of fall! :)
Thank you! Always fascinating to watch you blend colors & how they magically look lovely together! Hope you'll do one with the regular Distress inks & Speckled Egg as it seems to look quite different from the Oxide.
The last one reminded me of the desert. I also really liked the blend from speckled egg, to evergreen bough to broken china. Both speckled egg and evergreen bough are a little grayish, and the broken china added a bit of bright at the bottom.
Thank you for these ideas. My Speckled Egg Oxide Ink is on the way. That last blend with the Ripe Persimmon would be a beautiful mountain sunset card with a solid silhouetted tree stamp over it. I love it!
I really fell in love with all of these colors to Kristina. And that speckled egg might be a favorite of mine I will have to try it out to see put the colors that you put together is phenomenal thank you for sharing the speckled egg.😊
Thank you for sharing your blends. Fun to see different combos. Note: according to Tim Holtz, you should use something like the edge of a gift card or squeegee to push the ink into the Distress pad going in all four directions. He demonstrates it in one of his FB live's - maybe the one on Distress Ink? He's done a bunch so I don't remember exactly.
Thanks for this! I'm always trying to improve my blending and this kind of video helps me tremendously. I ordered my Speckled Egg combo set from Ranger a couple of days ago and can't wait for it to arrive.
I absolutely love these blending videos that you do! Please do a follow up where you use these pieces in a card. I always have way too many backgrounds and I don't know how to use them. LOL
Hey, don't know if anyone shared this yet but Tim Holtz does have a Distress Refresher. It comes in a little shy of 2 oz. spray bottle. You could try it.
Love this new color! Did you ever had any problem with oxide ink pads? I have one that looks like the pad was in direct contact to water. I know that I didn't add water to it...
Hi Kristina, are the “Distress Oxides” very different to the “Distress Inks”? The colours you have blended together are lovely! Thank you for sharing! 🌺🐨💕
When you make these blending cards, do you write in the back what colors you used & how much if each toy needed to use / your technique so you'll have them as a future reference? How do you store them?
I have a friend with an Ameraucana (sp?) chicken. Her eggs are almost exactly this color, maybe a touch greener. I’ve only had chickens that laid brown or cream eggs, so hers always seemed... exotic? 😂 Anyway, I love this color. I’ll definitely be adding to my collection.
I wonder how Tim comes up with all the colour names? Is it during a work pow wow session with everyone around a table? Or maybe a few glasses of wine? 🍷😜😂 Even a competition around his office whoever comes up with the best name in the office wins that set of products if he picks your chosen name. He’s incredibly creative. He must be lots of fun.
Hi Kristina. I love everything you do. the bad thing I don't understand anything. I do not know English and I would like to ask you if you could put the subtitles in Spanish on the videos. so we could know what you are saying. I would love to. and a thousand thanks for sharing everything you do and watching you work.
n bonitas que haces. hello kristina. I only get the subtitles in English, it won't let me change them to Spanish. I have been told that the person who uploads the videos has to authorize it. I would love to understand you. with the beautiful things you do
All very beautiful combos, but the Speckled Egg /Ripe Persimmon/Walnut Stain combo was stunning. Gives more of a rustic look & feel. Love this. Can't wait to get mine ordered.
Seriously, who gives a crafting video a thumbs down? So annoying! I love these blending series! Thanks Kristina
I also loved the last one, reminded of an autumn day! Loved the color combinations!
The last one looks just like a desert sand storm! Lovely❤️🇨🇦

That’s so sweet of you to say! Thank you so much!

These are gorgeous. My favorite is speckled egg, ripe persimmon, and walnut stain!!
Loved the Walnut fade the best. Beautiful blends. Thanks so much.🇺🇸
I like how the 4th one turned out too...almost like a serene sunset or sunrise. Thanks for sharing your blends!
Love the subtlety of this new colour. I like how it blends with the evergreen bough, so it’s great you showed us that order of ink blends. The last blend is beautiful.... reminds me of our Australian outback. 🥰
Instablaster.

All four combinations are great 🥰 The one with Walnut satin is beautiful and the ones with blue are very sea. :)

All pretty but the speckled egg, persimmon and brown were amazing! Reminded me of a farm field at sunset
I love the last one. It reminds me of the Mighty Five parks in Utah. Maybe that’s why it’s your favorite???
The last combo would be perfect for a desert scene!
The last one reminded me of the desert. I also really liked the blend from speckled egg, to evergreen bough to broken china. Both speckled egg and evergreen bough are a little grayish, and the broken china added a bit of bright at the bottom.

Out if Africa on that last combo. Really Beautiful.
Love the last combo best!!! Different is my way so now I'm going to have to make a card with colors similar to those until I can purchase those inks.
Love the Speckled Egg and all of the blends with the last blend being my favorite
Beautiful color combinations!

Speckled egg!!! Omg I love it
a gorgeous sun set sky on your last one :)
I was watching a Tim Holtz video he stated that if the ink pad does not soak up that it was time for a new pad
When you make these blending cards, do you write in the back what colors you used & how much if each toy needed to use / your technique so you'll have them as a future reference? How do you store them?
Thanks for the new combos. Only 11 more.😁
Want to try with weathered wood or stomy sky and iced spruce..
I have a friend with an Ameraucana (sp?) chicken. Her eggs are almost exactly this color, maybe a touch greener. I’ve only had chickens that laid brown or cream eggs, so hers always seemed... exotic? 😂
Anyway, I love this color. I’ll definitely be adding to my collection.
Thank you, great job

I’m curious. You don’t leave the lids off while blending. I always do so wondering if they’ll dry out quickly or something else?
Hello from Perú. Thanks for share. I love this.
Have you tried storing your ink pads upside-down? Gravity brings the ink to the top of the pad. Re-install less.
Love the combos and the new color but will this be released in a mini-cube size too?
I think there will be a mini cube of the regular Distress ink eventually, but just as before there will not be an Oxide mini pad.
Lovely. Thank you.
Hello Kristina!! Do you know if those inks could be shipped to Brazil? Where are they from? Thank you!!
Hi there! Yes, many stores ship internationally, including Simon Says Stamp, which I've linked to in the video description. :)
K Werner Design thank you !! 🤗🤗🥰
Love these!
Gorgeous
First! I love your artwork!
thanks!!!
Gorgeous❣️

I would love to. and a thousand thanks for sharing everything you do and watching you work.
The English captions are there. You can choose a different language and google will translate it for you.
Btw, I believe the google language captions only work on a computer, not on mobile.
n bonitas que haces.
hello kristina. I only get the subtitles in English, it won't let me change them to Spanish. I have been told that the person who uploads the videos has to authorize it. I would love to understand you. with the beautiful things you do
Seeing the thumbnail, my reaction was, "Ooooh, egg!"
"Wait what's an egg? Why an egg?"
Robin eggs are this color
2nd... lovely work :)
Love the last one, looks like a sunset.
