      If you call them and ask they will send you pics of it during the build. I was told yesterday it was in the process of being painted and glassed, should have some pics next week once it’s out of the mold

    Been a Boat builder for 37 years very clean plant I have been a Gel Coater for most of my career

    • @GregFisherAngling
      @GregFisherAngling  Год назад

      I cannot compare to other factories but I will say I was impressed as to how clean it was considering the amount of dust that has to be produced during the building process. I also did not see piles of boxes/cardboard laying around from all the parts and electronics they are using on a daily basis.

    Question. Are all the boats built on the 721 hull? Seems like that was what I heard in this video. If that is true, I am happy. The 721xp is cheaper than a 921 elite and the PHX, Let me know.

    • @GregFisherAngling
      @GregFisherAngling  6 месяцев назад

      No they are not all the same. At the time of the video I know the PHX hull was different and maybe one other but not 100% sure on the rest.

    They need to do entire front padded deck like most of the rest of the company’s have done

    • @GregFisherAngling
      @GregFisherAngling  Год назад

      Yes I agree. I do think with the price of boats coming out today manufactureres would be trying to add a extras without increasing the price to gain more of a competative edge. I think the prices are slowly getting out of control. Have you seen the price on the new Ikon bass boat? Extremly loaded model 142K !!!! Unbeleivable

    it's dumb to have the battery box door opening that way. if you have a problem with a pump or battery, it's to hard to reach over the door.

    • @BGOutdoors01
      @BGOutdoors01 Год назад +1

      Most bass boats open that way. Couple used to open out to the sides. Bad deal if it's hinged in the back and you don't get it all the way latched and it blows open at 70mph on the water

    • @GregFisherAngling
      @GregFisherAngling  7 месяцев назад

      BG outdoors is correct most do open that way but some are made to be fully removable for service

    • @bobbarnhill8557
      @bobbarnhill8557 5 месяцев назад +1

      You can just disconnect the shock from the lid and it will lay flat for complete access.
      I personally like the lid opening this way. When you turn on battery power it’s always done while standing outside the boat next to the motor. Hard to do if the lid opens the other way.

    • @dwighthaberly1199
      @dwighthaberly1199 2 месяца назад

      When you remove the shocks the door will NOT lay down completely do to the hinges they use. You only gain maybe 2" of travel removing the shocks. Found that out having to fix a leaking livewell fitting.
      You could always take all of the screws out and the shocks to remove the door but, I thought that would be more work then what you would gain since the door opens past hinges.

    One box is perfect on the 920 but 2 boxes on the 921 is best fit for size. The single big box is too big on the 21’s.

    • @GregFisherAngling

      I liked the one box idea a lot. Once I actually picked up my boat I was stunned at how much tackle can fit in the single box. It is huge!
