I used a food dehydrator, an oven with vents and a fan for the moisture to go out. It also can go very low in temperature 35-75 degrees Celcius. You can use a oven but you would need to keep the door slightly open for the moisture. Or the sun of course, a food dehydrator works best. The best temperature depends on the fruits itself ±12h at 65 degrees Celcius (149F) will work most of the time. Lower also but it will take longer💕

DIY dried fruit powder for natural food flavouring and coloring | relaxing cooking video...The best recipe.. tempting taste.. Amazing the best video... very useful and useful thank you for sharing... God Bless You🇧🇩🇲🇨🌼🌼❤✋👍👍
No kidding! I didn't even notice that until I read your comment. There are tons of videos where I need to hit the mute button because the music can be so irritating.
In India we make mango fruit leather which we make by first cooking the mango puree with sugar and then sun drying it. Tastes amazing. Your idea is also amazing.
The flavor is very concentrated because you remove a lot of water by drying it. Especially citrus fruits can get a little powerful so if you use the right amount of powder and taste while flavoring things it will be delicious!
I will try to do this, but with the power of the sun, I plan to make a dehydrator with the help of 3D printing, I have seen the potential of this process, the food lasts longer, and you can have your favorite flavors, all year round, especially I will do it with fruits that break down easily, such as strawberries, blueberries, your video inspires, thank you
Watched your dehydrated fruit saga - entertaining and enlightening! Loved the cameo appearance by berries, those sneaky little sugar minimalists. While the other fruits were strutting their sweet stuff, berries kept it cool with the sugar content. It's like they're the undercover agents in a spy thriller of snacks. I did have a hankering for some juicy nutritional facts, but I guess we're keeping it casual. Just a fun fact for the next episode: all fruits pack a sugary punch, but berries? They're the low-key, health-conscious cousins at the family reunion. Keep the food truths coming!
Loved every bit of this video ❤️ I stay in North India where we see summers with mercury rising to almost 48-50°C and winters when mercury falls between 2-1°C. And in between these 2 extreme weathers we have monsoon which brings in a lot of moisture to the air. For smoothies and shakes I store limited quantity of some fav seasonal fruits in deep freeze to use in off season also. So, what can be the ideal storage condition in such weather variation so as to keep these powders fresh and safe. Pl guide.
You can dry the fruit and store air tight and dark, the best way to store would be as air tight as possible and in these conditions 3-4 months but you can try after that time is it still tastes good! Hope it helpt!
@@Everythingshemakes I want to use these powders for my cold brewed teas to enhance the flavor. Is there any good brand of dehydrator that you recommend for...especially in India? There are a number of options available online but I am afraid to select one with my least knowledge about dehydrators.
The important thing is a fan in the back (not a fan from above, that will dry the fruit out inconsistent) also a timer is nice so you can set a timer for 12 h and just go to sleep and it will turn off immediately.
Thank you so much for this video! Before I was wasting my time grating the orange zest, cooking it and blending it when i made homemade Kare. Now I know a much easier way to make orange powder for that purpose! Thank you SO MUCH! Huge thumbs up :D

I don't know the brand that he used but I saw it on another video that they used a convection oven which is you know those ovens that have a fan in the back however I think that you might be able to also draw your fruit in a regular oven just takes time and it's nice to do in the winter because it'll eat your house up too
@@FazriHassan I have heard that it is. And you know I start to think about it and nowadays the sun is so hot why not dry the fruit out in the sun? To me that's another possibility because come to think of it I know that they dry tomatoes and that's why they're called "sun-dried tomatoes"... Maybe we're complicating this too much... But yes I have heard the regular ovens will do and now I'm putting out the word about drawing stuff out of the Sun it might work
You cane use a normal oven but then you need something to keep the door open a bit for the moisture to go out of the oven. The sun works to! If you live in a warm country 💕
Wouldn't the pith of the orange make it bitter? There is a reason we use the skin and flesh and not the pith. This would be better using an orange type with less pith, I would think.
@@gereshomeE The comment above wasn't about the nutrients yes we know that😊 But, the pith IS bitter and not desirable in certain applications where very strong bitter taste would ruin the dish
