Aquarium Algae Eater Cichlid. Rainbow Kribs.

I was making a video on SAE cleaning off the algae from the Anubias but the Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher) decided to steal some of the spotlight.

I thought so, too. I looked it up and they're actually known to do so, but until this moment all I heard and read is that they're predators. Even one study says that the studied fish had more plant matter in their digestive systems.

Does the kribensis dig in the substrate

So far, no. It might be a different story if there was a female with him and they bred, though.
