Nicely done little L-39 tour, Scratch! Professional question: have you experienced any inconvenience transitioning from direct attitude indication like F-18 has to indirect AGD-72, which “Albatross” was equipped here? I guess all East Block - made airplanes were fitted with this “indirect” type till mid 80th probably. This actually have created significant issue for some airline pilots who had to switch backward though, from indirect to direct causing fatal disorientation in time critical scenarios. Perhaps they were IMC. Cheers!
Excellent insider’s narrative of an iconic jet!
Thank you
No, no, no....THANK-YOU!😍😍🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video Scratch.
You mentioned the cross tube for injection if the smoke oil but you didn't mention what the probe was for.
Good video! Nice to see how the smoke is generated. Nice compact panel.
Thanks!
Great video! Tara enjoyed it to, she’s not an aviation geek but she enjoyed your presentation, well done.
Awesome! Thank you!

Well fortunately I was trained on old steam gauges so I found the transition ok, even to instruments in metric.
