This game has a message that is very important and relatable to a lot of us. What Conker said at the end is true. You don't know what you had until it's gone.
I like how in the final battle with Heinrich the warning automated voice says: "You're not very good at this, are you?"
It was a xenomorph from the alien and the aliens and a huge shit gets flushed and he think it was wizard of oz

Apart from the *strong language* and *brief partial nudity* that the original game *"Conker's Bad Fur Day" (2001)* ...on the N64 used compared to this.
Really not that big a deal, never was. People exaggerated it though and absolutely shat on this version for everything, even though it was actually pretty good. On top of that, you could unlock a "potty-mouth" mode in which there was no censorship at all (in multiplayer). Does that make it less "kid-friendly" than the N64 version?

For what it was, it was a pretty cool remake. The graphics were gorgeous for its time and could've easily passed for an Xbox 360 game. The only thing I didn't like about it was how way easier it was compared to the original.

11:05 I remembered when I fought the Haybot, and I didn't know why he had his sights on Conker, what I knew was that he was created by the weasel scientist, Von Kriplespac, to hunt down Conker to be used as a support leg on the Panther King's table, but what's really odd is the fact that the Haybot is trying to terminate Conker instead of capturing him. I haven't thought about this until now and I found out the possible reason, here's my theory.
The Haybot was indeed created by Kriplespac, since he had a giant red eye and all, but what if this thing was made by his future self and was sent to the past to kill the red squirrel? And the reason was because Conker would go to War and destroy Kriplespac's base in the future, becoming King and further on leading the SHC in the war against the Machine Tediz?
This makes sense when you think about it, after watching the Live and Reloaded multiplayer trailer, it shows a cinematic cutscene of the New War Squirrels and Tediz, and at the end, Conker is seen in his old army attire, using binoculars, while surrounded by SHC, this whole trailer is exactly like John Connor from Terminator.

Well what about the missile launcher MK.II? With that size, each barrel are packed with missile warheads, and knowing it's a MK.II, which are upgraded, meaning blowing one will detonate all missiles in, which would be enough explosion to blow up the entire room (maybe)
Considering that the missiles are possibly MIRVs, and the rate of which they are fired, the effectiveness would be reduced due to each warhead taking up a fraction of the required amount of TNT

I remember seeing the preview images for this game in Nintendo Power and thinking, "Well, This'll be another colorful collectible platformee for all ages."
I just...I want to know what Rare was smoking when they decided to turn it into...well...THIS.
Because I'd be tempted to find out what kind of balls they were tripping. XD
They have always had that raunchy humor side to them, Banjo Tooie and even Nuts n Bolts show it, but in very sneaky remarks, usually from Kazooie.
They took note after announcing Conker Twelve Tales while in alpha and the general gamer audience groaning that Rare was a one trick pony and could only make cutesy platformers like DK and Banjo. Nintendo also saw criticism for not having more mature titles in their N64 roster, unlike Sony and Microsoft who were perceived as "big boy" consoles. So yeah, it was a good and rare synergy between a developer and publisher, and they put out what would become, despite not blockbuster sales, a timeless and cult classic and show the audiences that both of them still had tricks under their sleeves.
Sadly, Rare got hit with very hard times and got sweeped from Nintendo's hands by MS because they bet everything they had in the GameCube _and horribly lost that bet._ Even tho they would recover with the Wii, they lost their most important developer partner forever, which in turn got mishandled by MS and had the creativity stomped out of them. There's a reason why Rare Replay ended with Banjo N&B, _they would never have another opportunity to push the envelope like they did in their Nintendo days._
Nintendo at least learned to treat well and protect their developers from that point onwards. The times of Nintendo playing hardball ended with Rare's departure.

I'm glad Live and Reloaded is on the MS store along with the N64 Conker in Rare Replay. Even if we never see another Conker game again, at least their legacy will go on for the newer generation of players to witness the last breathes of an era before everything became "problematic".

In my opinion, live and reloaded is the far superior of the 2. Here are my reasons
1. The gameplay of pretty much all gimmicks in the game are better (looking at you beach portion of its war)
2. The levels look way better
3. The great mighty poo song is outright BETTER
4. The censoring is funnier than the curses
5. The music is in real instruments
6. The controls (especially in the shooting areas) are 750 times better than the original.
(But the multiplayer is better in the n64 game)

I have a feeling it may not be on the Switch just due to the fact that Nintendo doesnt own the rights to this game. Microsoft does and as crazy as Nintendo has been behaving not letting people upload their gameplay to RUclips, I would suggest that Microsoft not do that. Nintendo can be shady sometimes.
