Can you buy meritor IFS modules like this new? I know they can be fitted to Ford super duty series trucks.... definitely would be interested in upgrading to meritor axles and suspension.
@@WesternCanadianRockwell my barbie jeep couldn't handle that lol. My father has a 98 hummer h1 civilian that's nice. The breaks are just terrible because the inboard rotors are small and turn so fast.
I am working on a geared reduction hub for the 14 bolt . 2 double helix gear 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall in front to reverse the rotation and 4 gears in back to keep the rotation standard. With 2 1/2 Rockwell knuckles
It's unfortunate that Meritor didn't manufacture a portal axle gear box like the ones on the Humvee.
Intense

I have no idea where you get those things, but i thought the 1ton AAM1150 i got put in my car was cool... still is but... 😳

Yes we are located in sylvan lake Alberta, we do take on Axle repairs for customers
I wonder if they would swap under a h1...
I’m sure they’d fit under a Barbie jeep if you tried hard enough! 😂

What is the final ratio on those? Do they have an air locker?
They are the same as the Meritors so you can get a 3.07 or 3.90 for them, and just the Detroit style lockers are available.
@@WesternCanadianRockwell that's a high ratio. That before the gear reduction hubs?
@@jeepindave5464 yes it is before the reduction in the hubs . take that and multiply by 2 at the begin it says 7.80
@@huckstirred7112 that's make more sense
