For the celery, cut it into longer pieces and don’t use the blender. Long fibers are generally preferable. To get the non-fiber stuff out, try hitting it with a stick and rinse several times. Put more fiber in your water for thicker sheets. It looked pretty strong, though, and it looked cool. Many keep it thin with longer fibers. In some traditions that really thin paper is desirable.
When putting your frame into the liquid, try doing it on its shortest edge, and scoop it out. The method in the video pushes all the fibres down, so you're less likely to lift them out. Stephen Fry is taught how in the video “Stephen Fry and the Gutenberg Press”, 42:20.
Pineapple ❎ Paper ✅ You found infinite ways to make paper It was a great video, and I learned a lot of new things about the paper-making process, including that paper can be made from various materials.
You can take the DIY paper and tape it to the A4 page like you did, then set the print size larger than what the paper is, so it prints the edges on the A4. Then when you peel it the entire DIY paper would be printed on and have these nice "live edges".
That's really great! I love how each turn especially the leaves one. Too bad it didnt work as paper because imagine if we could replace the wood by the leaves. Your lamp is very beautiful! I did one with silk paper that I glue with other and paint with ochra and when its on, it make a very warm light. Another pleasant, amazing and funny moment. Thank you!
Hi Connor! You said and showed in the video that Baking Soda you use, is Poisonous. When you put that in the soup" it had a lot of steam. In my opinion you should do these cookings with poisonous things outside, and you won't breath in the steam. And also don't lick everything! :DD Be safe!👋
I remember celery with peanut butter and raisins called ants on a log. Peanut butter and raisin sandwiches too. I just love your creative ideas and no-nonsense channel. Thank you for sharing your creativity just pure and true. You are a true gift in today's chaotic world.
when making the paper, next time, slide your deckle and mold in vertically on the wall farthest from you, then slide the bottom along the bottom of the tub, slowly turning it horizontal. this will allow more pulp to land on the deckle and giving you thicker paper. The way you are doing it now, you are causing the mesh to push all the pulp down and away from your mold.
bro you need to do some paper out of wood! would be the funniest thing ever! and also i fell in love with this channel a month ago bcs of the subway sandwich garden, and now every single video posted i get happy, thank you so much for doing this, everyone loves you
Interesting idea I gotta say, and I love it. Most stuff can be turned into paper if you do it the correct way 😛 Very fun and entertaining video, Connor! 👊😁
