About my life on wheels my name is Ricky mercado I’m 28 years old born in Minnesota and got a spinal cord injury in a car accident in 2017. I’m just giving you little pieces of my life to see if I could make things a little easier for you and educate others on spinal cord injuries. @@rickyslifeonwheels wont hurt to check with the dme which type of motors you have. Maybe its just set at a lower speed? I hope so atleast
Are you sure you were on mode 2 when seeing how fast it will go? it should go around 7 mph. Also, make sure the knee guards are close to our legs so that you will be standing up straighter, and there will be less pressure on your knees.
Yes I was and it maxed out at 5.7 and yes I readjusted the knee guards and I stand much straighter now!
@@rickyslifeonwheels Are there 5 yellow bars? Mine maxes at 7.6 mph I think.

@@Quad12Walk I am loving the chair so far and yes, the standing feature really reduced my spasms
@Rickys life on Wheels Standing should improve bone density & blood pressure, too.
You could of had them turn the speed up on your chair, that’s what I had to do
They said they couldn’t for the Standing wheelchairs🤦🏽♂️ iknow it sucks
